4 YEARS ENDS Andy Reid stuck around after he was fired by the Philadelphia Eagles, meeting with players, encouraging staff and shaking hands with the man who let him go. . After 14 years, Reid found it hard to walk away. Owner Jeffrey Lurie understood. ''He had the love and respect of every individual in this organization,'' he said at his news conference Monday. ''This man is amazing to work with, smart and dedicated, and the record will speak for itself.'„ Not this season's 4-12 record nor the humiliating score of the season-ending loss to the New York Giants, 42-7, on Sunday. It was the worst finish by the team since Lurie fired Ray Rhodes following a 3-13 finish in 1998.

Anxious to avoid an Orange Bowl shocker, the Florida State Seminoles kept getting tricked. An onside kick fooled them, as did a fake punt, and a pooch punt by Northern Illinois' star quarterback. But the final score was no surprise. Florida State had too much speed and depth for the Huskies and pulled away for a 31-10 victory
Patriots equipment manager dies
Don Brocher, a longtime equipment manager for the team, died Dec 31, 2012 due to complications from leukemia. Brocher, 60, was in the midst of his 41st season with the organization, making him the longest-tenured employee in Patriots history
The Arizona Cardinals officially began their coaching search on January 1st 2013 with a formal interview of their defensive coordinator, but their top target appears to be Andy Reid, according to reports. Reid, fired by the Eagles on December 31th 2012, has been contacted by the team but has not scheduled an interview. However, Reid could get the job by the end of the week, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Team president Michael Bidwill interviewed defensive coordinator Ray Horton a day after Ken Whisenhunt was fired after six seasons. Bidwill said he intended to fly to Denver over the weekend to interview Denver Broncos offensive coordinator Mike McCoy. Horton is a rising star in NFL coaching circles, despite Arizona's lack of success. The Cardinals' defense was among the league leaders in several categories, with the 5-11 overall record due mostly to the worst offense in the NFL.

President Obama gave a moving speech and promised to take action to prevent future tragedies. But the harsh truth is that we’ve heard this promise before. After Aurora. After Tucson. After Virginia Tech. After Columbine. Promises are not enough. We need action.

LOS ANGELES – The Clippers might not be a perfect team, but they just completed a perfect month. They closed out December with a 107-96 victory over the Utah Jazz at Staples Center and became only the third team in NBA history to go 16-0 in one month. They also extended their franchise-record winning streak to 17 games, the longest in the league since the Boston Celtics won 19 in a row from Nov. 15 to Dec. 23, 2008. And this: Their 25-6 record is the team's best start after 31 games and the best record in the NBA. Until now, the Clippers have tried not to become too absorbed in streaks or records, preferring to take coach Vinny Del Negro's one-game-at-a-time approach even as the wins kept piling up.

Lingerie Football League Announces Major Changes Coming For Brand By Joe Kinsey January 3, 2013 Posted in Lingerie Football League, nbl
As the LFL heads into its 4th season in the United States, the league is preparing to further brand the sport internationally. LFL officials have announced there will be a major re-branding next week, which could include as much as a name change, new uniforms, and game equipment modification. The move is rumored to position the brand with a greater focus on the athletics of the sport and its athletes. Mitchell S. Mortaza, Founder & Chairman of the Lingerie Football League, was quoted as saying, “This is the next step in the maturation of our now global sport. While the Lingerie Football League name has drawn great media attention allowing us to showcase the sport to millions, we have now reached a crossroad of gaining credibility as a sport or continuing to be viewed as a gimmick. In the coming years we will establish this sport in Canada, the US, Australia, Europe and Asia as the most known form of American football globally. In order to reach the next milestone, we feel the focus has to be the sport and our amazing athletes.”

With the pre-season gone and The New Team League Crusher showing that they are the team to look out for, we ask what is to become of the 1st season of the AAL football league. Who will make history and become the 1st championship of AAL football division.

Team League Crusher Captain David Codrington listening to his team on their last pre-season game. Can they keep up with their win
The last two pre-season was a look at what is to become of the regular season. With amazing catches , Passes, dive and stop I can only image what it will be when they playing in the regular season. A Team that try to prove that there wins in the preseason was just a warning of what they are going to do.
Team Crusher had a good game on Sunday vs. All Sport Pro. Losing the first game and winning the second game. Their first game was nothing but heartache and pain. Lack of understanding or butterfly in their stomach. Which ever the case this young team could not measure up to the older team. All Sport Pro show the skills of their name. Ending the game 36 to 18 it seem like the point was made. It was not until the 2nd game of their double hitter that Team Crusher came back. Maybe it was the lack of energy or the 2nd wind of the younger team. Due to the fact of good communication a great touch down catch by Team Crush Wide Receiver Kevin. (Photo below) Catching a touch down over two players, taking a hit in the air and being stop by the ground on his back. Set the tone to state ―IT IS OUR TIME.‖ The no die attitude of this team is something to watch for.
