to say "pterodactyl" without showing their teeth (putting lips over teeth like a person without their teeth). Those who crack-up or smile are out. The students will be introduced to the topic. The students will receive the instructions for the first activity. While/Study/Task Cycle
The Echo game: Students are given a set of words, half the class get VERBS, half get PREPOSITIONS. A student who is a verb should start by saying their word out loud, and whoever has the matching preposition should reply: Student C: Get! Student D: Up! Correct answer, collect the papers. Incorrect, they keep it.

Bingo: Students work in groups and are given a set of cards containing phrasal verbs, as group they have to organize them and the first group in saying Bingo! Win the activity.

Talk for one minute: Students work in groups Students choose a phrasal verb from the previous activity and their task is to talk for at least one minute about the topic this phrasal verb concerns. Ideally, students should repeatedly use the phrasal verb in their mini speech. Ex. spend a minute talking about the importance of paying the money back.

Students give a report of what they learnt and how difficult or easy the activity was, at the moment they present the task. Students are remined what a phrasal verb is.
