And like any mediocre Netflix story, it starts in my freshman year of high school. I had decided to attend Vikingfest to see what all was available to me to get the most out of my high school experience. I pursued around the Lamar cafeteria for a while and saw the Key Club booth calling my name. Within just a few minutes of talking to the booth operators they had me hooked, and I was now a member of the Lamar High School Key Club. Then the first club meeting was scheduled for a few days after the start of the school year. At the meeting, I was exuberant to see that a bunch of my friends had signed up to be a part of our growing community as well.
