Known for his commitment to exceptional patient care, Dr. Shah graduated as valedictorian of his college class at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in New York. After completing his medical studies at the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor, he went on to finish his residency at the prestigious Jules Stein Eye Institute at the University of California, Los Angeles. His exceptional resume combines education, experience and expertise, including a competitive fellowship specializing in Cataract, Cornea, and Refractive Surgery at the world-renowned Johns Hopkins Hospital – Wilmer Eye Institute in Baltimore, Maryland.

As a leader in his field, Dr. Shah has published book chapters and peer-reviewed journal articles and has been involved in training future ophthalmologists in the United States as well as abroad. At Aravind Eye Hospital in Madurai, India, he helped restore vision to countless indigent patients so they could lead a fulfilling life again.
