acaranda Hotels Kenya first ventured into the Kenyan hospitality industry in 1964. The Pizza Garden provide snacks and beverages for tourists in transit and its popularity brought with it the necessity for a larger facility with accommodation for discerning patrons.

Jacaranda Hotels Kenya has changed management several times over the years including Alliance Hotels, Quality Inn and Block Hotels. Jacaranda Nairobi Hotel was the landmark hotel during Block Hotels’ tenure. In October 2003, this management contract came to an end and Jacaranda Hotels Kenya was formed.
The 1973 World Bank Conference was held in Nairobi and at the time, the Jacaranda had only 40 rooms – hardly enough for all the expected guests and dignitaries. The need for further

RESTAURANT & BAR

Lord Cole. With a variety of à la carte to buffet menus, excellent service is guaranteed in all the restaurants and bars.

The lodge offers a perfect setting for conferences in a relaxed country atmosphere. The ultramodern Flamingo conference facility can accommodate up to 70 people in a variety of configurations. Conference amenities such as audio visual equipment, LCD projector, flipchart and stationery come as standard. A photocopier, PA system, computers and printers are available for hire at an extra cost.
