The UAE aims to have 75% of Dubai’s energy come from clean resources by 2050. If the city pulls that off, it will have the smallest carbon footprint in the world. We speak to one of the men who is making it happen, planning and design manager at See Nexus, Phil Dunn, a provider of sustainable solutions and the company that have been working on Dubai’s Sustainable City. Dunn talks about what makes a sustainable community and some of the major challenges that come into play when trying to create a sustainable environment.
