Graduate Landscapes We spoke to Josephine Alderton a garden designer from Graduate Lanscapes about her childhood memories. “As a child my favourite spot in my parent’s modest garden was the dark secluded corner where lush leafed plants encased an area my siblings and I nicknamed ‘Favourite Corner’. The unassuming entrance was an old trellis almost entirely consumed by ivy which my mother wouldn’t dare cut back for fear of accidentally snipping off a head of the stunning purple clematis that danced its way through the evergreen leaves. As an adult these spaces have lost little of their lustre. Whereas in my childhood hours might have been spent looking under the stepping stones for insects to terrorise, now my time in these spaces is spent sitting, reading and contemplating away from sight and sound of the outside world. The use of water in such areas can be incredibly effective even if this be derived from a simple cast iron bowl filled to the brim with water. This will mirror any available light and add to the reflective nature of the space. In these secluded spaces the onus is less on intense flower colour and far more focused on foliage. This is where the size, shape, colour and texture of leaves come into their own. Foliage such as the large, lush leaves of the Hosta ‘Big Daddy’ contrasting beautifully with the lacy fronds of our native Polystichum setiferum ‘Herrenhausen’ in winter the striking bold, rich red of the Berginia ‘Overture’ against the more delicate grass like leaves of the faithful Liriope muscari will capture the imagination as much as the most beautiful rose. To quote the wonderful author Frances Hodgsen Burnett ‘ At first people refuse to believe that a strange new thing can be done, then they begin to hope it can be done – Then it can be done and all the world wonders why it was not done centuries ago’ – The Secret Garden.” Graduate Landscapes are one of the exhibitors at LANDSCAPE this September in Battersea Park.

Wildflower Turf Knowing that the creation of a shade tolerant wildflower mix would be an important development for their landscaping clients, Wildflower Turf are now pleased to be stocking a specific mix of turf that is especially suited to areas with low levels of natural light. They knew that it wasn’t just the lack of light that causes problems in tree lined areas, in fact once you have chosen species that can cope with minimal sunlight, it can be the least of your problems. Mature trees not only provide dense shade, they will also have an impact on fertility of the soil, taking high levels of nutrients as well as moisture. Leaf litter and fruit can also be problematic at certain times of the year and if not managed, will provide further competition and impact the health of the wildflowers. Their trials have led to the selection of the best species mix for optimum colour, biodiversity and longevity. Continued research and development has enabled them to provide landscapers with the best advice for the preparation, installation and maintenance regime of shaded wildflower areas. Whilst this wildflower turf mix has been specifically designed to be installed around high shaded areas, it is not restricted to this application; it will also thrive in open meadow sites where the extra species will flourish. The turf has been developed by the company using its unique ‘soil-less’ system that is more drought tolerant than other more conventional methods. The turf has a wider selection of flowers, 41 different species, with a minimum of 75% wildflowers. Come and talk to Wildflower Turf about your requirements on their stand at LANDSCAPE this September in Battersea Park.

British Sugar TOPSOIL Visitors to LANDSCAPE 2015 will have the opportunity to see the only landscaping topsoil listed within the NBS National BIM (Building Information Modelling) Library Landscape20. Compliant with BS3882:2007 for topsoil it helps landscape and construction professionals meet the exacting criteria of the NHBC Standards. This has allowed British Sugar TOPSOIL to use the following NHBC-approved statement: “British Sugar TOPSOIL can help builders meet the requirements of NHBC Standards Chapter 9.2, ‘Drives, paths and landscaping’, for topsoil.” Chosen by designers and landscape contractors for numerous award-winning schemes, Landscape20 is a natural and fully sustainable by-product of British Sugar’s production process. 300,000 tonnes of rich arable soils adhere to the 7.5m tonnes of sugar beet delivered to British Sugar factories annually by UK growers. The soil is washed from the sugar beet, separated, dried, screened to 20mm and blended to produce Landscape20 - a general purpose topsoil with typically 60-65% sand content. Available year round, this beautifully friable and consistent topsoil is ideal for planting, seeding and turf laying, restoration and civil engineering projects, and sports ground construction. Why not come and listed to ‘The Secret’s in the Soil’, on Wednesday, 17th June 2015. Designers and landscape architects are invited to a free master class with soil scientist Tim O’Hare and British Sugar TOPSOIL manager Andy Spetch. Lunch and site tour included. Alternatively why not visit the British Sugar TOPSOIL stand at LANDSCAPE this September in Battersea Park and win a hamper from Associated British Foods. Simply enter their draw to win a prestige hamper from their sister companies Twinings, Pataks, Ryvita and Jordans Cereals.

British Association of Landscape Industries (BALI) At LANDSCAPE 2015 landscape architects, designers and contractors will find BALI Affiliate members exhibiting a wide range of innovative, quality landscape products, products that help to create award-winning landscape schemes. Look out for the ‘BALI Registered’ logo on exhibitors’ stands. And for designers looking for a contractor to make their designs a reality, they can visit the BALI stand where staff will help them find a BALI Registered member in the right location and with the right skills. With over 800 members, BALI is the UK’s largest membership organisation for garden designers, landscape and grounds maintenance contractors, and suppliers of quality industry products and services. The ‘BALI Registered’ logo is hard won by designers and contractors, who must undergo stringent initial vetting by industry professionals, followed by a regular standards review. And this level of membership is widely specified by clients as a pre-qualification requirement in commercial and public sector tenders, giving BALI members an immediate commercial advantage. Domestic clients, too, are reassured by the BALI logo, knowing that they are selecting qualified designers and skilled contractors to undertake their garden projects. Chartered Institute of Horticulture

Animal and Plant Health Agency Exotic pests and diseases of trees and other plant species pose a threat to our gardens, woodlands and countryside. The ‘Beyond Our Borders’ garden at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show this year is an eye-catching and innovative display which brings to life the network of ‘plant sentinels’ (including UK native plants) which live outside of their natural ranges in botanical gardens and arboreta around the world as part of the International Plant Sentinel Network project. Included in the Fresh Gardens category at Chelsea, the garden has been commissioned by the Animal and Plant Health Agency, working closely with Botanic Gardens Conservations International, and created by award-winning designer Sarah Eberle.

The Chartered Institute of Horticulture is the authoritative organisation representing those professionally engaged in horticulture in the UK and Ireland. Its membership comprises, and represents, those that are involved in amenity horticulture, parks, landscaping, botanic / heritage gardens, and the full range of horticulture within leisure industries as well as those producing, managing, growing and marketing all edible and decorative horticultural crops, allied research, education and consultancy. It also includes those working in associated supply industries and students taking their first steps into horticulture. The Institute gives recognition of status within the horticultural industry and the means to meet and network with professionals in all spheres of horticulture. It also provides the opportunity to make an effective contribution to the future of horticulture as well as its importance as a career. Find out more at www.horticulture.org.uk

The IPSN project, funded by Defra in the UK, is monitoring these plant sentinels for damage by pests and diseases native to the country where they are growing. In this way the plants act as an early warning system for new and emerging organisms that could potentially attack our native species. This information will be used to inform plans for prevention, eradication and control. The garden is just one way that the government is working, alongside industry, voluntary groups and the public, to protect our environment, and ultimately the economy, from the impacts of potentially serious plant pests and diseases. APHA are also exhibiting at the LANDSCAPE Show in September. Why not come and see them on stand C53 and find out more about quarantine pests and diseases and biosecurity?

Gardeners Guild The 68th UN General Assembly declared 2015 the International Year of Soils (IYS). The International Year of Soils 2015 aims to increase awareness and understanding of the importance of soil for food security and essential ecosystem functions. Among the many designers, suppliers and landscapers at Landscape 2015, The Gardeners Guild is proud to represent qualified garden and grounds maintenance gardeners. Long after the designers and landscapers have left site, gardeners care for the ongoing needs of the plants living in those created spaces. This includes paying close attention to the ongoing health of the soil. One of the objectives of the IYS is to raise full awareness among civil society and decision makers about the profound importance of soil for human life. This is something professional gardeners take very seriously. Healthy plants depend upon healthy soil. Horticulture is important. The Gardeners Guild are proud to support this years event and will be happy to talk to anyone at LANDSCAPE who is interested in starting a career in garden and grounds maintenance or discussing any aspect of self employed professional horticulture.

Perennial A team of high-flying fundraisers took to the skies on Saturday 2 May to skydive to raise money for Perennial, the charity that is dedicated to helping horticulturists in need. The ten brave thrill-seekers will leap out of a plane at 10,000 ft over Norfolk, aiming to raise over £2,000 for HortAid 2015 in the process. Taking place on World Naked Gardening Day, the team included members of the infamous Grubby Gardeners gang jumped wearing naked-look flesh coloured morph suits that left little to the imagination. The Grubby Gardeners shot to fame last year when a naked photo shoot for World Naked Gardening Day led to appearances on national media. From the original Grubby Gardeners line-up, those taking the plunge on Saturday are Michael Perry, gardening expert and presenter, David Lewis, Head Gardener at the Kensington Roof Gardens and Andrew Wain, Head Gardener at Euridge Manor near Bath. They were joined by others including Adele Ford, a double RHS Gold Medal winning garden designer and Perennial’s own Director of Marketing and Development, Anita Bates. Perennial provides free and confidential advice and support to those who work or have worked in horticulture during times of crisis and for as long as it is needed. The skydive formed part of Perennial’s annual HortAid fundraising campaign, which gives a platform for those in the industry and the garden-loving public to raise funds. All funds are put to good use - £50 could pay for a care alarm to be installed for an elderly or disabled client; £200 could fund 10 sessions at a nursery for a baby whose parent is critically ill and £1,000 could buy a new boiler for a family living without hot water or heating. Please visit their stand at LANDSCAPE this September in Battersea Park to see how you can help.

Architectural Heritage Alex Puddy reports back from this years Chelsea Flower Show. “After a three year sabbatical it is great to be back once more at the Chelsea Flower Show - seeing show gardens grow from holes in the ground to the greatest temporary horticultural statements anywhere in the world, truly is a site to behold. For me personally it has been great to catch up with friends that have, like me, been doing this for nearly on 30 years now! We are displaying, amongst other items at Chelsea, a super set of early 20th century lead Four Seasons, resplendent with attributes and cherubic features, alongside a pair of characterful mythical creatures in the form of stone Griffins, again early 20th century. A leap forward in date now to a bronze maquette by David Wynne (1926 - 2014) who is best known to all for his famous Boy with Dolphin sculpture which sits not half a mile from Chelsea on Cheyne Walk. This Wynne figure is of the river god Tyne and cast in 1966 predates by a couple of years the enormous version which graces the Civic Centre in Newcastle upon Tyne. Going back in time one can see how this figure is much influenced by Giambologna’s great Appennine Colossus in the gardens of the lost Villa di Pratolino near Florence, a garden I have promised myself to visit one day.”

Streetscape Furnitubes The £30M New Kensington Leisure Centre and £40M Kensington Aldridge Academy are at the centre of a large mixed-use development that links the residential quarter of Latimer Road to the vibrant commercial and retail area of Ladbroke Grove, West London. The public realm between three major buildings offered the opportunity of creating significant new public spaces, whilst also linking into the surrounding street network. High quality paving was used throughout, extensive new street tree planting provided and soft landscape areas created, with Furnitubes’ Blyth concrete seating used throughout to allow residents, workers and visitors to sit and enjoy their new surroundings. Over 40 benches were supplied in total – all in a standard grey mix and fitted with stainless steel armrests that serve not only to assist people in using the seats, but also to prevent them from being slept on and as deterrents to skateboarders who may otherwise use the benches as grinding edges. Come and see more of the Furnitubes range on their stand at LANDSCAPE this September in Battersea Park.

Streetscape is an award winning social enterprise. They provide apprenticeships in landscape gardening to 18-25 year olds who are long-term unemployed, helping them to build the skills, experience and attributes they need to fulfil their dreams and move into and retain work: growing lives, transforming landscapes. In so doing they design, landscape and maintain gardens across South London for residential, commercial and communitybased clients. Streetscape was founded by James Gubb and Guy Watts. They are driven by one, simple, overarching goal: that each and every long-term unemployed young person they provide an apprenticeship to then moves into, and retains work, following their time with them. Recently, Streetscape were contracted to relocate and build the Gold medal winning RBC Waterscape Garden, designed by Hugo Bugg for the 2014 RHS Chelsea Flower Show. This garden is open to the public, so if you would like to see Streetscape’s work first hand, please visit at the Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens. Streetscape are proud to be part of the LANDSCAPE Youth Initiative and would be delighted to talk to you if you are interested in employing the Streetscape team, or finding out more about them. MCM MCM is fully prepared for the new BS 3882 revision that is active from summer 2015. There are a lot of changes and rebalancing of the levels that are acceptable. Topsoil is a vital component of all landscaping and planting projects. The scope of applications is increasing, with more people learning to manage rainwater using landscape features that soak up and reduce runoff. BS 3882 sets out requirements for topsoil classification and composition, specifying characteristics such as texture, acidity and contaminants. It includes information on sampling and analysis, and gives guidance about handling and site preparation so that soil is not degraded during excavation, delivery or placement. The standard has now been revised for its fourth rendition, this time to align with BS 8601:2013 – The Specification for subsoil – bringing both specification into line with the most modern research and requirements. Changes include the revised test parameters to reflect the increased use of composted green waste and a new organic matter test that is less damaging to the environment and health, and also cheaper. The standard covers natural and manufactured topsoil’s that are moved or traded, not topsoil’s remaining in situ. It specifies requirements both for multipurpose topsoil, fit for the majority of needs, and for specialist topsoil’s that have low fertility, are acidic or calcareous. Come and talk to MCM on their stand at LANDSCAPE this September in Battersea Park.

Q Lawns Green roofing is really taking off in the UK. Environmentally aware homeowners are recognising that hard landscaping needs to be offset with living plants to help vital wildlife and struggling drainage systems. A person’s garden reflects their life in so many ways and life is a balancing act - isn’t it? We all of us have basic needs that are met by nature under the guidance of farmers, horticulturists and engineers. Plants produce the oxygen we breath, filter pollutants from the air and stabilise the soil so that rainwater can be mopped up the way nature intended. Plants are also the basis of everything we eat. We’d be in a muddle without them! So given the finite space of a garden, how can a body balance the needs of nature with the needs of everyday life? Car parking space is essential, a patio is highly desirable and minimal maintenance is usually important. All of those requirements are screaming “hard landscaping” while Mother Nature is crying out for plants and soil. The answer is to take it up a level and put easy care plants on the roof. They’re out of the way, they’re undemanding, they’re doing their thing for biodiversity and air quality AND they help manage excess rainwater. Enviromat’s green roof kits make it easy to create a living green roof on a garden building or a dwelling. UK grown sedum plants need minimal maintenance and flower all summer long. Learn more about Enviromat on the Q Lawns stand at LANDSCAPE this September in Battersea Park.

Treebox Treebox have been greening the streets and gardens of the UK with their living wall designs since 2009. Past projects include the 10,000 herbaceous plants and ferns cloaking Rubens at the Palace Hotel, the recently extended Vertical Rain Gardens in London Bridge, and various splashes of vertical greenery in residential properties nationwide. The success of all these projects has always been a combined formula of intelligent technology, creative design and innovative solutions. Their product range is designed in-house through experience and the versatility of the systems make them an attractive option for both professionals and home owners looking to create a unique feature or simply revive an outdoor space. Living walls can be adapted for many purposes and budgets which make them a good alternative for those with small city gardens where space comes at a premium. It was exactly for these reasons that they chose to use the Living Louvre system for a recent residential project in London’s prestigious Chelsea area. The brief was to create a feature wall as part of a contemporary garden design. In this case a full size living wall may have detracted from other features in the garden, so conducive to the scheme they used the Living Louvres to provide swathes of colour. Their contrast to the surrounding smooth white wall creates dramatic results and is further accentuated by the textured planting scheme used. They harmonise the hard and soft elements of the landscape perfectly, mirroring the wooden planks below and their inset fitting creates the illusion that just beyond the boundaries you are immersed in a tropical leafy oasis waiting to be let in. Europlanters Europlanters were specified to manufacture some bespoke, giant, illuminating planters for an office block in Grand Canal Square in Dublin Ireland. The location for the planters is a prestigious office block, within 10,000m² of a new commercial and cultural development overlooking Grand Canal Square and Harbour. This exciting urban space in Dublin’s South Docklands and the hub of Dublin’s transport network has undergone substantial redevelopment. A scheme was created by a design team using giant planters finished in a satin RAL 3003, chosen to compliment the ‘red carpet’ a resin glass paving and the red lipstick lights of the grand walkway. The planters were for outside the entrance and within the large atrium of the building. The LED lit triangle planters sides measured almost 4m in length and 1.1m high and echoed the geometry of the space, along with the stained glass panels in the skylight roof which were an integral part of the building. As the planters were so big they were reinforced and braced and stainless steel was used to support the LED lighting and the guy fixing points. The project took eight weeks to complete from mould to finished product. As the trough planters were being placed outdoors, A frames were used to install the trees and as 3.5 metre tall Maytenus Boaria were being placed in a windy location stainless steel guy ropes were attached to the stainless steel fixing points that were installed in the planters to support them. 6.5 metre tall Bucida Buceras trees were planted in the interior triangles with Spathiphyllum used as under planting. In total 17 Tonnes of compost and 4.5 Tonnes of drainage media was used to plant the trees and the planting for both interior and exterior were supported by Mona tank irrigation systems. Come and talk to Europlanters about your next project on their stand at LANDSCAPE this September in Battersea Park.

Guillot Bourne Being a field nursery, Guillot Bourne dig and ship trees from October until April. On one side during this time of the year the weather is permitting better and safer shipping for the trees and on the other side the growing is best once the tree is planted in its final location. Some planting take place outside of this period. In order to provide their customers with the best quality, they have developed two additional products. They can either offer the transplantation of the trees during fall or winter in an air-pot system for shipping after April. This system allows them to keep the trees well watered up to the point of shipping and in this way to minimize the transplantation’s impact. Or they can offer a planting into made to measure pots and pre-culture the plants at their nursery for shipping whenever the construction site is ready for the delivery of the trees in their pots.

GIFAS

For more than 20 years GIFAS ELECTRIC has been producing floor pits used for the underground distribution of electrical power, compressed air and water. The use of solid rubber distribution boards, stainless steel housings, and gas pistons means that the system is completely maintenance-free. The product was initially designed for use on market places and town centres for weekly markets, Christmas markets, and many other open air events where electrical power is required. The product has been used in many other places, including the Base Court in Hampton Court Palace, Corporate Headquarters, as well as for private dwellings. The Floor Pit is designed to be used in closed position. That is to say connection is made and the lid is closed again, leaving everything out of sight, out of mind. More recently GIFAS was asked to design the Floor Pit so that it could house LED drivers to run 3 x 12m high LED illuminated letters. Those letters being R U N mounted outside of the Copper Box Handball Court at the London Olympics. A total of 70 x MeanWell CLG 150W LED drivers were used to power the 3 letters, and those LED drivers were housed inside of 5 x GIFAS Floor Pits. Kingcombe Aquacare “Without doubt London’s coolest new attraction” (Daily Telegraph); “A delightful bathing spot” (It’s Nice That); “It’s so lovely” (The Guardian) – just a few of the press plaudits for the new natural swimming pond at King’s Cross, engineered and built with the help of Kingcombe Aquacare. It’s the UK’s first public natural swimming pond, which will exist as a beautiful surprise in the middle of a building site for the next two years. The idea was dreamed up not just to make people ponder the relationship between nature and the urban environment, but also for people to be able to enter into this piece of Land Art and participate - by swimming. Kingcombe Aquacare were delighted to help bring this vision to fruition. Kingcombe usually create natural swimming ponds for private clients, but the same guiding principles apply. Carefullyselected wetland and submerged water plants filter the pond’s water and keep it clean and clear. John Colton, Kingcombe’s chairman, said: “We hope this high-profile site at King’s Cross will demonstrate the many benefits of natural swimming ponds to a wider audience.” Kingcombe Aquacare has been recognised since 1987 for excellence in all aspects of water construction, restoration, maintenance and management. Gordon Low

M & G commissioned award-winning landscape designer Jo Thompson to create a sylvan themed garden retreat for their M&G Garden at Chelsea Flower Show this year. The garden featured a two-storey oak framed building inspired by the writing room of poet Vita Sackville-West at Sissinghurst Castle and featured a large natural swimming pond edged with water-loving plants. Pond plan templates created from CAD data were produced and used by both the ground workers constructing the hard landscaping, and the fabricators from Gordon Low. This allowed the liner to be manufactured and delivered to site whilst the actual pond was still being constructed, ensuring the project could be completed in time. This 0.75mm SealEco tailor made liner started out as a 9m x 15m sheet welded in the Gordon Low flat sheet factory, it was then taken over to their tank and tailored factory for the more intricate work to begin. Once the liner was in place the build could continue, in this case a deck/jetty and pavilion stand on top of the liner above the water line. The decking/jetty is supported by submerged oak posts standing in the pond on top of the liner. Come and talk to them about your next project on their stand at LANDSCAPE this September in Battersea Park.

Gripple Sheffield-based Gripple has been developing and manufacturing time and labour saving innovations for 25 years, selling 500 million patented products in the process. Their latest innovation set to take the landscape market by storm is the revolutionary TL-P1, the high load anchoring pin designed to securely hold in place all types of landscaping fabrics and grass reinforcement mats, as well as erosion blankets and geotextiles. Installed in only a second, the TL-P1 is the first landscaping pin on the market designed to be driven in using a standard combi drill. This offers additional health and safety benefits as the pins are easily installed, with no hammering required. With its helical end coils, the TL-P1 generates at least four times greater pull out forces than J-pins and U-pins commonly used in landscaping applications. As well as boasting vastly reduced installation time and increased resistance to pull-out, the TL-P1 reduces labour costs associated with reworking loose pins. Gripple also offer other time and labour saving products for landscapers, including Rootball Kits to quickly secure mature trees in place and a range of Garden Trellis Kits. Green-Tech Award winning landscaping supplier Green-tech has supplied the materials to stabilise part of a river bank in North Yorkshire. Addis Garden Design, a professional garden design and planting company was commissioned to stabilise a river bank at the bottom of a domestic garden in the village of Brawby, located in the heart of Ryedale. The client’s garden backed on to a very steep banking, 40m in length, which led down to a fast flowing river. The bank had started to erode and the client needed to prevent further erosion to the banking and subsequently their garden. Addis Garden Design worked with the Environment Agency to get the full planning permission that was required for undertaking a project of this nature and scale. In just over two weeks they installed 45 gabions, supplied by Green-tech and filled with 150 tonnes of stone, Trinter mesh, also supplied by Green-tech, was used to form new banking and larger rocks were bought in to form a new beach. Michael Addis, Addis Garden Design said: “We choose Green-tech as our main supplier due to their expertise in the use of these products. Jordan our sales advisor was particularly helpful throughout the quoting stage and the prices were very competitive.” Jordan Webster, Green-tech adds: “This was a great project to be involved with and is a great example of the differing type of landscaping enquiries that Greentech receives. We were able to offer advice, recommendations and co-ordinate deliveries to suit the specific timescales and overcome the challenges that this type of project presents.” Come and talk to Green-Tech on their stand at LANDSCAPE this September in Battersea Park.

After the competition, Jessica said “I am delighted to have won the Young Horticulturist of the Year 2015 competition and look forward to using the travel bursary to further my training in horticulture. Having finished second in the competition last year, my over-whelming emotion when the final scores were announced was relief, especially as this was the last year I would be eligible to enter. I would now really like to support the running of the competition, and to encourage others to take part, as it is vitally important to celebrate the quality and knowledge of young horticulturists. I’m not sure yet where the travel bursary will take me, but I will be looking to find best examples of horticultural standards to give myself something to work towards.” The contestants from the Institute’s eight branches battled it out in a closely fought competition in front of an audience of 60 supporters from across the industry This prestigious competition is now in its 26th year and over 1,800 young horticulturists from across the UK and Ireland have taken part this year in local heats and regional finals over recent months.

Adbruf Adbruf was recently involved in the refurbishment of the pathways at Twycross Zoo in Leicestershire. The zoo’s walk ways were in need of resurfacing where the crushed stone surface had become uneven over the years from the 500,000 annual visitor footfall which could create problems for disabled access, pushchairs and elderly visitors. The area had also become prone to ponding in wet weather which had both practical and aesthetic issues. The total area in need of resurfacing was 3,000/m² and work was split into two phases on a tight schedule to minimise disruption to visitors, staff and animals. The brief was to design pathways that would be aesthetically pleasing, practical, low maintenance and free draining to a set budget. The sub base was prepared by Future Contracts and Styleseal Limited then installed an Adbruf Resin Bound surface to a depth of 18mm over the entire surface of the sub base. This created an excellent hard wearing surface that blends in with the surroundings. The newly surfaced areas are now accessible to all and will help to enhance the overall experience for visitors. Come and talk to Adbruf about your next project on their stand at LANDSCAPE in Battersea Park this September.

At Quickgrass they are pleased to say that they have a mission statement, to bring luxury high-end, quality products at affordable prices to the British public, with the knowledge that they are buying a fully guaranteed product. “How soft” “Wow it really does look like grass” “Wish I had seen this before I ordered” “I have fitted artificial grass for a number of years and yours is with out doubt the best I’ve seen in the market place” “My clients were not looking to change from natural grass until we showed them your samples“. The above are just a few of the responses that Quickgrass hear every day from their customers and end users who buy through their on-line store. At last years LANDSCAPE Show, Quickgrass had a huge number of visitors to their stand and all the comments were …. yes you guessed, “Why is your grass so soft and looks so real ….” One of the hands that had the pleasure of “stroking” their grass was designer Lucy Summers. Lucy chose the Quickgrass Woburn product for the Country Living Magazine show garden which she had been commissioned to design. The theme was glamping and needed a high-end quality product to highlight her spring garden. Along with a VW Camper Van, a vegetable garden, spring daffodils and tulips it really did look a treat. The Quickgrass team look forward to meeting you all at the LANDSCAPE Show in Battersea this September.
