EARN MONEY WHILE IN SCHOOL Co-operative Education, offered in the Co-op & Career Development Centre, allows you to alternate semesters of full-time study with paid work terms to gain practical, career-related work experience in your field. You will be provided with opportunities to meet alumni, employers, and sponsors, or join associations who will help you grow valuable connections. Apply in your first year to get a head start on your career.
WORK EXPERIENCE FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS Eligible international students, with a valid study permit, can work part-time without a work permit as long as you maintain full-time status. Co-op students must apply for a Co-op Work Permit through Immigration Canada. After graduating from a certificate, diploma, degree program, or post-degree program you may be eligible to apply for a Post-Graduation Work Permit.
