CORRIDOR DESIGN

Jaddaf Creek is where the site is located. The plot is almost empty, with only a single business or trading building on one side and a loose, open area with a few level changes on the other. Although there fails to be much traffic at the site, it can still be reached via abra (boat), car, subway, and pedestrians.

The site can be easily navigated via a variety of accessibility methods, thus my design will be more constrained because my verb, hesitate, will operate in opposition to what is already present on the site. It is at the end of the Metro line (green) and serves a specific purpose, such as boat and marine repair. There is little to do in the region other than change between different forms of transportation. For instance, people who use the Abra may need to take the metro or bus later to get home because the residential area is in the stations before the creek station. In spite of the fact that it is already a well-known location, few people spend much time at Creek, with the exception of when they have to travel to the library, which is located much farther from the metro. In order to activate the place using my verb, I must use this area, collaborate closely with the metro, and disrupt any current movement there.
