Carolina Giovagnoli

I am Carolina Giovagnoli, I am a type and graphic designer from Rosario, Argentina based in Berlin. I hold a specialization in Typeface Design from the Universidad de Buenos Aires, Argentina, where I currently am a guest professor. Since 2008 I run my own studio, focused in branding and editorial design. I am also co-founder and partner at Huerta Tipográfica —an independent font foundry established in 2010—, where I specialize in researching, creating and developing innovative typefaces, custom type design and advisory for external projects. I have a particular interest in language issues, especially native languages from Latin America. Andada ht, the typeface I designed as part of her specialization, was awarded with the BID_10 prize at the 2010 competition. I have given lectures in type design and typography in Argentina and Europe. My work has been part of several exhibitions such as Tipos Latinos (Latin America), MAMM (Argentina), MDML (Portugal), BID (Spain).
