DONATION OPPORTUNITIES ENDOWMENT FUND The Endowment Fund is used to fund scholarships for children, youth and seniors, and improvements to parks, facilities and programs. Because only the interest on the fund is spent, your donation will continue to give for many years. Simply write “Endowment Fund” on the check’s memo line. Donors who give $1,000 or more (spread over time or in a single contribution) will have their name engraved on the Giving Tree, located at the Robert Livermore Community Center. The LARPD Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit foundation supporting Livermore area recreation and parks, nature programs, special events, Ravenswood Historic Site and community beautification efforts. With your generosity, the Foundation has supported the community in countless ways, including purchasing defibrillators for medical emergencies and providing scholarships to low-income program participants. With the ongoing economic crisis, your support of the Foundation has become increasingly important. Memorial Donations If you are interested in making a donation in honor of a loved one, please contact Sandra Kaya at skaya@larpd.dst.ca.us or 925-373-5786. Memorial donations can be in many forms, including trees and benches. To Make A Donation To donate, simply write a check payable to LARPD Foundation. Mail or deliver check to: LARPD Attn: Sandra Kaya 4444 East Avenue Livermore, CA 94550 If you would like to, you can specify a program for your donation (i.e. Aquatics, Seniors, Parks, Endowment Fund) by writing it in the check’s memo line. Unspecified donations will be placed in the General Donation fund. Although costs of items have been specified, donations of any amount are welcome and in-kind gifts are greatly appreciated.
