os cambios son duros. Dejar atrás viejos modos, aunque sean tóxicos, no es sencillo. El actual debate migratorio no sólo puede resultar en la primera reforma de nuestras leyes de inmigración en casi 30 años sino que paralelamente expone la lucha interna republicana por su propia reforma: entre quienes quieren rescatar al Partido Republicano de la irrelevancia a nivel federal, y quienes permanecen aferrados al pasado.

hanges are hard. Leaving behind old ways, even toxic ways, is not easy. The current immigration debate can not only result in the first reform of our immigration laws in nearly 30 years but simultaneously exposes Republican infighting, between those who want to rescue the GOP from its irrelevance at the federal level, and those who remain wedded to the past.

Former mayor Kathy Taylor spent the better part of a day last week getting to know Latin Tulsa a little better.
Not many six-year-olds send or receive letters in the mail, and fewer still can say they’ve corresponded with the President of the United States. But that’s exactly what Bernardo San Martin, a kindergartner at Sequoyah Elementary School, has done, to the surprise and delight of his proud parents.
