SUPPLEMENTS HORMONAL BALANCE AND MENSTRUAL HEALTH
REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH AND FOOD
BEFORE YOU READ THIS GUIDE... You should always follow the instructions on the label of the supplement package unless you're instructed to do otherwise by your physician. It usually takes about 3 months to feel the full effect of a supplement, so be patient with the process. The brands that I recommended in this guide are some of my personal favorites because they are high quality, affordable and easily accessible. I've used all of these and have experienced really good results with my hormonal balance. You don't have to use the same brands, but you do need to research the brands you choose to use to ensure that they are high quality and tested by a credible source.

ALWAYS CHECK THE LABEL TO SEE IF THE SUPPLEMENT DOSAGE IS GOING TO PROVIDE YOU WITH MORE THAN THE MAXIMUM DAILY INTAKE OF A NUTRIENT. TAKE THE TIME TO GOOGLE THE DAILY MAXIMUM INTAKE TO KEEP YOURSELF SAFE.
I recommend that you get tested so you know what nutritional deficiencies and hormonal imbalances you have. You should check in with your physcian to see if it’s safe for you to use these supplements. This information is meant to bring awareness about the positive benefits of supplements but is not a substitute for professional medical advice. IT DOESN'T MATTER IF THE SUPPLEMENT IS A TABLET, CAPSULE, GUMMIE, POWDER, LIQUID OR SNACK BAR. JUST USE THE ONE THAT YOU PREFER. LATERRIA PATTON

LIVER HEALTH The first step of healing a hormonal imbalance begins in the liver. The liver is responsible for regulating many of the hormones in the body. You can help your liver function properly so your hormones can stay balanced by consuming foods that contain chlorophyll. On the days that you don't eat foods rich in chlorophyll, its best to take a chlorophyll supplement.
CHLOROPHYLL IS THE GREEN COLOR THAT CAN BE FOUND IN GREEN PLANTS AND GREEN ALGAE. CIRCULATORY SYSTEM HEALTH
Your circulatory system circulates blood and lymph fluid throughout the body. The circulatory system is responsible for the flow of blood, nutrients, oxygen, gases and hormones throughout the body . You need the recommended intake of iron, vitamin E and omega 3 fatty acids daily to ensure that your circulatory system has the ability to keep your hormones flowing.

DIGESTIVE HEALTH Your stomach, small Intestine, large instestine and several other organs are a part of your digestive system. The digestive system breaks down food in order to absorb its nutrients. Our hormones are metabolized and removed from the body by the digestive system. When the digestive system is not functioning properly, it can easily cause a hormonal imbalance. We need to consume an adequate amount of probiotics daily because it provides the gut with "friendly" or "helpful" bacteria that helps to keep both the gut and vagina healthy. Drinks like kombucha are normally rich in probiotics most people don't drink kombucha daily, so taking a probiotic supplement is the next best alternative. I also highly recommend you to take a turmeric/ginger supplement to fight against inflammation in the digestive system daily because inflammation is one of the most common causes of a hormonal imbalance.

PITUITARYOVARIAN HEALTH Pituitary Gland and Ovaries
Your pituitary gland and ovaries are both organs that produce and release hormones that determine whether you will have a regular menstrual cycle each month and whether you ovulate. Ovulation is neccessary for pregnancy, so its impossible to concieve without it. There are 5 nutrients that keep the pituitary gland and ovaries functioning properly: Calcium, Vitamin D3, Magnesium, Zinc and B vitamins. When you are deficient in any of these nutrients you may notice symptoms such as irregular or absent menstrual periods, infertility, PMS, vaginal dryness, decreased sex drive, thyroid issues and leaking discharge from your breasts even though you're not currently breastfeeding or recently birthed a child. You may even start to grow a beard, mustache or chest hair. Supplement Recommendations: Spring Valley Calcium, Magnesium & Zinc plus Vitamin D3 Coated Caplets

LOW PROGESTERONE
Genetics & Aging PAGE 07
If you're consistently getting the recommended daily intake of the nutrients i recommended on page 6 for 3 months but you still have PMS, not ovulating, spotting brownish colored blood at the beginning of your period for 3 or more days, fibrocycstic breast lumps, leaking breast discharge or an irregular cycle, them you may need to try a vitex fruit supplement. Sometimes even if your pituitary gland and ovaries are functioning properly, you just don't produce enough progesterone on your own. This can be due to your genetics or aging. Vitex fruit is an adaptogen that helps the pituitary gland produce hormones that the body needs to ovulate, have regular menstrual cycles and prevent PMS symptoms. I strongly recommend that you DO NOT use vitex fruit until you've tried calcium, vitamin d3, magnesium, zinc and all the B vitamins for 3 month or you could make your hormonal imbalance worse. You need to continue to get the recommended intake of of calcium, vitamin d3, magnesium, zinc and all the B vitamins while you take the vitex fruit. Your period may become abnormal and sporadic, but it normally balances out after 3 months, so be patient with the process.
