Premenstrual Syndrome Guide(PMS )

Page 1

Before you read this guide... Premenstrual Syndrome, also known as PMS, occurs when hormonal fluctuations cause symptoms during the week or two before a menstrual period starts. Some common symptoms of PMS are: mood swings, tender breast, acne, appetite changes, bloating, etc. This guide will teach you how to heal PMS naturally by giving your body the specific nutrients that it needs daily to produce the hormones that play a major role in how your estrogen and progesterone levels fluctuate after the 14th day of your menstrual cycle. You should check in with your physcian to see if it’s safe for you to make the recommended dietary changes and use the supplements. This information is meant to bring awareness to how nutritional deficiencies can cause Premenstrual Syndrome but is not a substitute for professional medical advice. Do not wait to seek medical counsel, diagnosis or treatment.

Boost your Zinc Levels

The recommended daily intake for people who menstruate is 8 milligrams per day. Exceeding 40 milligrams per day can suppress your immune system so don’t overdue it. This is a list of foods that you can eat to consume more

fluctuations that occur before your period. When the body isn't recieving enough of these 8 B vitamins daily, it can cause the pituitary gland to malfunction and trigger PMS symptoms. A stress-free way to get all 8 essential B vitamins daily is to take a B-complex supplement. This is my B-complex supplement recommendation

STABILIZE THE PITUITARY GLAND If you're consistently getting the recommended daily intake of zinc and b-complex for 3 months but you still have PMS symptoms, especially if its tender breast or fibrocycstic breast lumps, then you may need to try a vitex fruit supplement. Sometimes even if your pituitary gland is being nourished with nutrients, it still is failing to release hormones in a stable manner. This can be due to genetics or aging. Vitex fruit is an adaptogen that helps the pituitary gland produce hormones that the body needs to ovulate, have regular menstrual cycles and prevent PMS symptoms. I strongly recommend that you DO NOT use vitex fruit until you've replenished your zinc and all 8 of your B vitamins levels for 3 months or you

could make your hormonal imbalance worse. You need to continue to get the recommended intake of zinc and B-complex while you take the vitex fruit. Your period may become abnormal and sporadic due to your hormones stabilizing, but it normally balances out after taking it for 3 months, so be patient with the process. The results will be worth it. This is my vitex fruit supplement recommendation
