Working on design projects that tackle social issues, for example sedentary lifestyles, has always interested me. I think it is more important to address social problems than to design a new shiny coffee machine. How people respond to their environments and how design can improve the quality of their lives intrigues me, as it gives me an insight into different people’s perspectives and the challenges they face. I believe technology will have an ever greater influence on how we live our lives. However, we need to ensure that technology is there to improve the users’ experience if necessary, not to replace it.
I am a committed and enthusiastic team player, whether it’s working with clients or chasing down a frisbee. I know how to work well in a team and communicate effectively, I am always looking for new challenges and opportunities to develop my understanding of the world around me.
