Pearl Harbor: Learn, Honor, and Remember

Join us on National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day, as we come together to honor and remember the 2,403 service members and civilians who were killed during the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. Roger Gibbs will lead us in a look back at the timeline and actual footage of events on the day that will live in infamy.
Impress your family and friends by bringing homemade yeast rolls to the table. Elizabeth will demonstrate how to make these simple and delicious rolls. They’ll come straight from the oven soft, warm, and begging for a smear of butter or jam.

True Crime Trivia

Holiday Hours: The library will be closed on December 24th and 25th in observance of Christmas. We’ll also be closing at 5pm on December 31st and January 1st in observance of New Years.
This month we’ll be playing a game of trivia including questions from cases that we have covered in the past. Everyone can play, as some of the questions will be from some of the most famous true crime cases. We’ll have 3 rounds; the highest scoring individuals will move on to each round and the last 2 individuals will compete for first place. First place will receive a $25 Amazon gift card and a true crime book, second place will receive a $15 Amazon gift card and a true crime book, and third place will receive a true crime book.
