Discovery of King Tut November 1st-30th
“In November 1922, archeologist Howard Carter and his team of excavators uncovered the steps leading down into a forgotten tomb in the Valley of Kings located in Luxor, Egypt. What was supposed to be a run-of-the-mill mapping expedition soon became the biggest discovery of the decade, the untouched tomb of the Pharoah Tutankhamen. Visitors are encouraged to browse prints of the original Harry Burton photos taken at the time of the discovery and a sampling of replica artifacts found in the treasury of the boy king. Come immerse yourself into one of the most historic finds in human history.”
