Before The Beatles changed the face of music forever, they were the torchbearers of rock n’ roll. They infused original rock n’ roll with their own youthfulness, creativity, and amazing harmonies.
Beatles 4 Sale celebrates those early days of Beatles rock n’ roll. Adam, Isaac, Jon, and Vander bring to the stage the same energy and youthfulness that the Fab Four brought to the clubs and stages from 1962 to 1966. Each member of Beatles 4 Sale brings extensive experience performing the music of the Beatles with an energy that will turn any stage into a bona fide rock n’ roll party. Come back with us to when rock n’ roll still rocked, the guitars were loud, and the songs were timeless.

Celebrating 90 Years
Many people have contributed to the library’s impact during it’s long history. We will be honoring one of those people who was instrumental in shaping the library into the beloved institution it is today, Lori Acton. Lori led the library as director from 1985-2013. A driving force in growing the library from 4th street to an awardwinning building on College Park Drive, then expanding the facility, which included our auditorium, to offer more to the community she loved. Always looking to re-define what a library could offer, Lori ensured that the library would be a thriving part of the community where anyone in the public could attend free, quality events that exposed them to fresh ideas, different cultures, and show them the beauty of it all. Because of her vision, our library’s auditorium has hosted events spanning all genres of music, theatrical performances, author visits, art exhibits, discussions, book sales, and so much more. We’re grateful to Lori for her passion. Join us as we honor her legacy during our 90th Anniversary Celebration on October 6th.
The Laurel County Public Library has been a cornerstone of the community for the past 90 years. In honor of our 90th anniversary, please join us as we celebrate our history of serving our patrons. The celebration of this milestone is a time to look back on the legacy and impact the Laurel County Public Library has had on the community. As this serves for a wonderful time of reflection, it is also a time to look toward the future of our continued excellence for many years to come. We hope you will join us for this special celebration!
