Cora Wilson Stewart started the first Moonlight School on September 5, 1911, to teach illiterate adults to read and write. Over 1,200 adults came to learn to read! In just two years, adult illiteracy in Rowan County was wiped out. Author Suzanne Woods Fisher will present a fascinating program about the life of Cora Wilson Stewart and the impact on literacy she made through the Moonlight Schools.
True Crime: Idaho College Murders
