Review your award letter After we review your FAFSA, we’ll send you a Financial Aid Award Letter. The letter will outline the types of financial aid that make up your award, as well as a financing strategy for any remaining financial need. At this time, you’ll be asked to accept, decline, or request to adjust any federal aid you’re eligible to receive.
Reapply every academic year Resubmit your financial aid application and FAFSA for each year of your program so that we can reevaluate your financial needs and provide you with the appropriate award package.

Create your n personal statement
Your personal statement, of 2–3 or 3–5 pages depending on your program, is how we get to know you on an individual level and begin to understand both your academic and professional aspirations.
T est your knowledge n
Schedule any applicable standardized tests so you can submit scores in time for your application deadline.
Gather professional n recommendations All of our master’s-level programs require 2–3 recommendations from faculty, supervisors, or peers within your professional network. If you’re applying for a PhD program, you’ll submit one letter from a PhD holder.
S elect your best work n
Portfolios and writing samples allow us to see what you’re capable of creating. Specific requirements vary by program. Visit our website for details.
Schedule an interview and/or n academic meeting You may be asked to meet with our program representatives for a personal or small group meeting. For some programs, we require that you sit with a academic advisor so that we can better understand your academic objectives.
Polish your resume n
For some of our more specialized programs, we like to see that you have relevant experience in the field, whether through professional, academic, or volunteer work.
Request your records n and transcripts
Every application will require you to submit official academic transcripts from any undergraduate or graduate institutions in which you are currently enrolled or that have issued you a degree. For some programs, we also require records of your licensure.

Private Scholarships To supplement any scholarships you may receive from Lesley, review your private scholarship options. In most cases, these scholarships are added to your existing financial aid, and do not result in a reduction of this aid.
Assistantships

Employment Federal Work-Study Program If you’re an eligible student in an oncampus program, this program provides the opportunity to earn part of your personal expenses through part-time, on-campus, or qualifying off-campus employment. Awards are typically up to $1,800 per year.

TEACH Grant
Additional Options
Receive up to $4,000 per year while serving as a full-time, highly qualified teacher in a high-need subject area in a designated low-income school for four years within eight years of graduating. Learn more: lesley.edu/financial-aid/teach-grant
