We used Benjamin Moore paint, in Festive Orange (benjaminmoore .com) here. It makes an especially nice contrast with a leafy-green view. A few more hues we love: SherwinWilliams, in Knockout Orange (sherwinwilliams.com), and Ralph Lauren, in Shanghai Red (homedepot.com).

PERSIMMON + SAND A deep, saturated orange is bright and inviting by day but cozies up a room at night. For a space that looks lived in, not loud, continue the color onto window trim, and go for neutral or dark wood furnishings to bring out its warmth.
