Fiona drove Team H and G to the Creiff climbing wall where Geoff kitted us all out with the harnesses and helmets. First we all had a go at traverse climbing along the wall. Then he put up Having discovered that Scouts don't some ropes and we did loads of extreme climbing bounce when the rope snaps Geoff on various parts of the rock face. Everyone had a tried to hide the evidence chance at belay and hold the rope (smiling) we all had to trust each other. Then Geoff set up the abseiling wall which was a huge 30ft down the rock face. It was epic. But it hurt are hands alto when we tried to support us it then made are legs also hurt .When team H and G did the climbing and abseiling it was a massive success. With lots of unusual sunshine and only a small amount of rain everyone had a brilliant time.

Patrols E & F Go wild Camping Wednesday morning patrols E & F set off towards Ben Lawers. The packs were large and heavy, the faces were all a little nervous. After setting up our wild camp at 777m high, we carried on up the mountain. The winds was powerful and gusty, the visibility poor and the incline pretty steep. Patrol F made the top of Ben Lawers and we all met back at the tents for dinner. Wild cooking produced a good, filling dinner and then it was off to bed. Thursday weather was similar and some of us went up to Meall Corranaich and then down. Others went down and competed in the river games competition. Patrol F are proud to bag 2 Munroes.

Dinner Menu Starter: Haggis with Brown Bread

Main: Roast beef, roast potatoes, Yorkshire puddings, Carrots Peas and Broccoli Served with Gravy

Dessert: Apple Pie served with custard or cream

Only 1 young person stayed awake in the mini bus on the way back to LEH. All walkers worked well as a team, carrying extra kit and helping each other along the way. Well done to both teams, a great time was had by all. Thanks to James and Goodie for leading the expedition in their own special way. Richard chennells wanted to announce that he licked the poo trowel, before he had a poo with a view!!!
