A mug is for Life not just for Lochearnhead!
The West Highlands It has come to the attention of the Station Master’s office that poor little mugs are being abandoned around the station after just one drink!
Warm sunshine mainly north and west; gusty southeasterly wind
If you find a mug around the station please pick it up and show that it can by loved by taking it back to the dining room and washing it up.
How Windy? Southerly, in the range 25 to 35mph gusts up to 45mph.
This poor little mug had to spend the night out in the cold before he was rescued, please help prevent another mug from suffering this fate!
How Wet? Bursts of heavy rain and thunderstorms from time to time.
Cloud on the hills? Cloud base will vary; lowest and most persistent Loch Lomond NP, where cloud may often be below 450m and rarely above 750m. Elsewhere, breaks may develop to higher summits, particularly N Lochaber, but still below 600m at times.
Scout Earns Bravery Award Scouts Alex C and Dan B where given the ‘Bravery Award’ by Patrols E & F for their outstanding effort in overcoming the challenges presented by the Vertical Rock Face before them while on the climbing and abseiling trip. Dan B described his experiences as “Stepping over the edge into the Abyss to abseil down the wall“ This award clearly earned judging by the comments from the rest of their patrols, some of these included: Quite scary at the top! Like a roller Coaster! Scary at first, but then you to do it again straight away.
Occasional glimpses of sunshine. Hazy throughout the day, and widely foggy across the hills, especially south.
Other Quotes included: Great views. Weather – Very nice! Fun, exciting, Scary and challenging. Isaac Snoozed in the sun. Spiderman William. Richard and Sam were awesome Climbers!
How Cold? o 9 C (at 900m) o 17 C (at Station)
Goodie and Hartley were very impressed with the effort from all the scouts.

To combat this situation we are rationing newspapers sheets but still supply is a issue.
Main: Meat Pie Mashed Potatoes Mixed Vegetables Served with Gravy

As you may be aware from walking past the ‘gents’ on the end of the platform there is currently a issue with the availability of the Loo Roll in that facility.
The Guidelines are: Don’t worry the station masters office have been informed and working to ensure there is ‘1 Sheet’ each!
