Tuesday 21st august groups A & B left on the task of sailing the extensive Lochearn. Upon arrival we were put into our pairs and prepared our boats for use. After about 5 minutes of sailing the wind died down and we lost all speed and movement. We docked for lunch as the rain came so we all huddled around the successfully built fire by Nick. The rain stopped so we set off again and shortly after we were told to pull all our boats together. I was called to the rowing boat in front, at which i was invested. Alex as always the Good Samaritan “helped” me off the boat and into the loch. Moments later the wind picked up and we flew around the loch. It was time to go but almost no one escaped dry. Which then brought an end to a very eventful and excitable day. Shaun Warren
Cycling Today patrols E and F went cycling. It was really fun and we had some competitions along the way. We had the slowest rider which Imo (Imogen) won! The strongest rider which Rennan won and the fastest rider which Charlotte won! Max Rennan abd Charlotte fell off. Danny out leader said we had to come back being the muddiest group and I don’t think we succeeded as we didn’t get very muddy.
Kayaking Today Mila, Rachel, Lucy, Fabio and Micheal did the first set of kayaking in the morning. It was clear from the start Mila was the Expert we placed our noses on the end of our boats in the water while holding onto each other’s boats so we didn’t fall in! Mila almost did it with no one holding on to hear kayaking! when our instructor matt took use through the long reeds, WE SAW A BABY OWL, he was sleeping in the reeds!

The High Rope We had a breakfast before driving by minibus to Benny Beg which was a crag in the middle of a field. Our group climbing the smaller route first, after bouldering on the lower rocks.
The second route was much higher and harder to climb, but we all managed to reach the top in one piece. After that Steve the climbing guide set up a third rope that was a lot harder at the start then both the others as the others got easier towards the end. Due to Helens height difficulties she didn’t quite make it to the top. But matt (the group expert) made it the top twice. Then steve decided to let us abseil down one of the two easier routes. It was fun but very hard to start. Afterwards we had some hot chocolate and then traveled to a shop that was down the road. When we were finished there we went back to the station. Group C
