DEAN’S CONGRATULATORY MESSAGE
DISTINGUISHED LADIES AND GENTLEMEN,
I welcome you all to the class of 2014 reunion ceremony. Today, we come together to honour and celebrate the remarkable journey of our alumni from the class of 2014, marking a significant milestone in your lives—a decade of achievements, growth, and continued excellence. Congratulations to every one of you.
As we commemorate this special occasion, we also celebrate 33 years of Lagos Business School’s commitment to excellence in management education. Over these years, the role of our alumni has been pivotal in shaping the legacy and future of LBS. Your unwavering support, whether through serving as ambassadors, providing financial assistance, or spreading our values through word-of-mouth, has significantly extended our influence within Nigeria and beyond.
Reflecting on your time at LBS, I hope you are reminded of the exceptional education, enduring relationships, and strong sense of community that LBS provides. The impact of our alumni community on the practice of management and business across Africa has been profound. As the continent continues its journey toward development, I am confident that you will remain at the forefront, driving progress and innovation.
At Lagos Business School, our mission is to impact management practice meaningfully. We uphold the principles of ethics and the dignity of the human person, and these values are reflected in how we influence management practices in Nigeria and across Africa.
Your continued support for the activities and growth of our great institution is invaluable. Together, we strive to uphold the pedigree and reputation of LBS as a premier business school; one that we can always be proud of.
Once again, congratulations to the class of 2014 on this momentous ten-year reunion. May you continue to be the shining examples of our mission and values in all your endeavours.
