Honourable Dr. Doris Uzoka-Anite MD, CFA is Nigeria’s Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment charged with supporting businesses to grow economically- especially in the areas of investment, increased capacity for local industries, export expansion through policies and programmes that culminate in job creation, opportunities and trade investments across all sectors of small, medium and large enterprises. Dr. Doris Uzoka- Anite obtained her First School Leaving Certificate in 1984 at State Primary School, Festac Town, Lagos, Nigeria and her West African Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (WASSCE) at Ilupeju College, Ilupeju in June 1989. She proceeded to obtain a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at the prestigious University of Benin in March 1999. She also attended several trainings including University of Oxford (Oxford Fintech Program 2019) Oxford Algorithmic Trading Program, Advanced Risk and Portfolio Mgt Institute (ARPM), London Academy of Trading. She was admitted to TRIUM (New York University, Stern School of Business, HEC Paris, London School of Economics and Political Science) in 2021. She also holds the prestigious Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter. Other professional developments include Fixed Income Derivatives by Citibank, London, Advanced FX Options Strategies- Goldman Sachs, London, Coaching and Mentoring at the London Business School, Human Resource Management at the Lagos Business School.

She started her career as a Medical Officer in Eko Hospital and Providence Hospital in Lagos before making the bold career move to finance by joining Zenith Bank in 2002, rising through the ranks in record time from an Assistant Banking Officer (ABO) in 2002 to Group Treasurer of the Zenith Bank Group in 2019, while being one of the most decorated and awarded personnel of the bank. As Group Treasurer of Zenith Bank Plc, the largest bank in Sub-Saharan Africa, she achieved exceptional results, especially during the global financial crises, by deploying advanced Financial Engineering and Financial Risk Management strategies to orchestrate complex financial transactions that propelled the bank towards unparalleled profitability, despite the prevailing economic challenges. Her landmark achievements included: Balance Sheet Management: Overseeing total assets exceeding $20 billion (N8.48 trillion), Revenue Growth Contribution: Contributing to over 36% growth in the bank's gross revenue, Profit Maximisation, Investment Advisory, and Global Asset and Liability Management amongst others.


Her sterling performance at Zenith Bank culminated in an invitation from her home state to be appointed as the youngest Commissioner in the state. She served as the Commissioner for Finance and Coordinating Economy where she managed the finances of the state while also supervising 27 other Ministries, Departments and Agencies to ensure overall economic development of the State. In her capacity as Commissioner for Finance & Coordinating Commissioner of the Economy, her professional prowess excelled luminously, leading to a series of landmark achievements that left a lasting impact on the state's progress and prosperity in various areas including; Strategic Financial Management, Infrastructural Growth and Financial Stability, Industry and Trade: Revenue Growth and Resource Maximization: Civil Service Reforms: Treasury and Investment Management: Policy Advisory: Youth Empowerment, etc. She is involved in several Presidential committees such as Secretary, Presidential Economic Committee, Secretary, Presidential Food Security Council, Member, Presidential Strategy Team, Member of the National Economy Subcommittee, Policy Advisory Council, Member of the Independent Presidential Campaign Council, Member, Presidential Committee on Fiscal Policy, Tax Reforms. She is involved in various professional associations and social clubs some of which include: Chairman, Zenith Tech Fair, Chairman, Tech subcommittee of the Style by Zenith Fair, Secretary, Bank’s Disciplinary Committee (previously). She is Fellow, Nigerian Institute of Credit Administration, Fellow, Chartered Institute of Banking, Fellow, Corporate Administration of Nigeria. Within her first week of resuming office, she has received the first ever Nigeria Investment Policy, which primarily focuses on investment promotion, and facilitation as well as sustainable economic development. The document also promotes responsible investor conduct for sustainable development by influencing investor behaviour in compliance with globally acceptable standards relating to the environment, human rights, health, labour, safety, corporate social responsibility and anti- corruption. She has also done an initial tour of the ministry offices, including Nigeria’s Industrial Trust Fund complex which she has committed to expediting its completion. As minister, her high priority objective is to support businesses to grow economically- especially in the areas of investment, increased capacity for local industries, export expansion through policies and programmes that create jobs, opportunities and trade investments across all sectors of small, medium and large enterprises.



At the Nigerian Economic Summit Group, Tayo Aduloju is the Chief Executive Officer (Designate) and Senior Fellow, Economic Policy, Strategy and Competitiveness. He is a Policy Entrepreneur, Educator, Strategist, Futurist, Scholar, 4IR Explorer and Advocate. He has over two decades of consulting, strategy and policy advisory experience that cuts across the major sectors of the economy and governance value chains. Before that, he served as a Scholar of Peace Mission throughout his last teenage years until he was 25. He has advised various African and Arab Presidents and Heads of Governments, States, Ministries, Agencies, Captains of Industries and Transnational Corporations on the Continent. His combined experience makes his expertise at the Nexus of Business, Development, Government and Humanitarian matters. His current strategic advisory and national assignments include: Okun Economic Fellowship for Africa and the Middle East focused on Reducing Poverty and Growth Development support in fifteen High-Growth Potential Nations; Programme Director, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation funded High-Level Forum on SDGs; National CoChair Nigeria Open Government Partnership (NonState Actor), Chair, Technical Review Team, Nigeria Agenda 2050, 2030 and Medium Term Development Plan 2025; Coordinator, Country 2050 Agenda Futurology Technical Working Group; Deputy Coordinator, Poverty Eradication and Social Protection Technical Working Group; Chair, Country Illicit Financial Flows Mapping Group; Private Sector Adviser, Presidential Taskforce on COVID-19 Control. Focused on Mixed Methods Research to produce evidence that drives positive social change, Tayo continues to serve as a scholar-practitioner in Economic Complexity, Growth Diagnostics and Multidimensional Poverty and holds a Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Economic Policy and Public Administration; and Doctor of Business Administration (in Strategic Management); Master’s Degree in Data, Economics and Development Policy,

Public Administration and Business Administration. A bachelor’s degree of Technology in Applied Industrial Biochemistry, Federal University of Technology, Akure. He is a Certified Practitioner of the Practices Blue Ocean Strategy, Balanced Scorecard Strategic Management System, Futurology and Economic Complexity, and Public Policy. A Six Sigma Black Belt. Tayo is a Graduate and Alumnus of John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University, and Holds an HKS Executive Certificate in Economic Development (Leading Economic Growth, Implementing Public Policy, Senior Executive Fellows, Strategic Management of Enforcement and Regulatory Agencies and Implementing Public Policy, Institute of Politics Programs); Oxford University Poverty and Health Development Initiative (OPHI) Building Multidimensional Poverty Index Certification and INSEAD Blue Ocean Strategy Institute Practitioner Certification.




Olawale, Rotimi Opeyemi is a leading agric entrepreneur, the CEO, and founder of JR Farms- a multinational family agribusiness company with operations in Nigeria, Rwanda, and Zambia. He holds a Bachelor of Arts and Masters of Arts from the University of Ilorin and an Executive Certificate in Agribusiness from Lagos Business School. Currently, he is a PhD candidate at Wageningen University in the Netherlands.


Obi Asika is acknowledged as one of the key African leaders in the cultural, creative, entertainment, innovation and sports sectors. He is a policy expert, thought leader, executive producer for Film & TV, Music and Live events and has a 30 year track in the sector. He is one of the visionaries who with his record Label Storm records, led the globalisation of Nigerian music and the global arrival of Afrobeats. He has created several tv shows, reality formats and also licensed and produced global formats. He was the executive producer for the first Big Brother Nigeria in 2005, he established Endemol Nigeria at that time. He was also Executive Producer for The Apprentice Africa, Dragons Den Nigeria 100% Naija & All Access Africa for Channel O, Vodafone Icons in Ghana, Naija Sings in Nigeria, the last two mentioned being original reality formats. As Chairman, Co-Founder Ampn West Africa he also launched As the Winner is and I love Nigeria which were Talpa Formats and before exiting launched the Voice Nigeria. Obi was Chairman and Co-Founder of SocialMediaWeek Lagos, from 2012-2020 which became one of the largest new media conferences on the continent. Obi Asika was a member of the core group of the Presidential Advisory Committee for the Nigerian Start Up Act since 2021 and has worked on significant legislation in the spaces affecting broadcasting, creative industries, ip, innovation, sports and the entertainment industry. Obi led the Technical Working Group in 2019-2021 which for the first time brought the CCHT (Culture, Creative, Hospitality, Tourism industries) to the Nigeria National Dev Plan 2020-2050. Obi Asika has been the principal advocate for Nigerian Soft Power since 2010. He is also a member of the board of trustees of the Nigeria Olympic Committee and is presently also a judge on Nigerian Idol.

He continues to produce important projects with the most recent being The Journey of the Beats on Showmax, a 10 part series which tracks the history and journey of Nigerian music through the ages. Obi Asika sits at the nexus of culture, content and technology. He continues to influence policy and leaders to bring more attention to these sectors which include, sports, entertainment, technology, art, fashion, culture and the wider creative industries. Mr Asika is a born storyteller and has spent a lifetime producing content in multiple ways across multiple platforms. Obi is presently building out The Omniverse which is a collaboration platform launched in association with Isn hubs, the largest innovation network in Nigeria with 180 hubs in 30 states and Digital Transformation Nigeria supported by Giz and the European Union. The Omniverse is a multi stakeholder and multi sector platform focused on scaling all sectors of our economy and public sector through the application of technology and combining the storytelling power of the creative industries to better showcase our wins.
