PASTEVENTS LBS BROWN BOX SERIES 2024

FIRST EDITION

The much anticipated Lagos Business School, Pan-Atlantic University Brown Box series began on Thursday, February 8, 2024, with a bang as four giants took to the stage to unravel the mystery behind their success in life and business. This first edition featured John Momoh, Chairman/CEO of Channels Television Media Group, Udeme Ufot, GMD SO & U, Frank Aigbogun, CEO of BusinessDay, and Gregory Odutayo fta. waui., GMD Royal Roots Nigeria, leaders in the media sector of Nigeria

The audience was fascinated by the exhilarating tales of humble beginnings, daunting challenges and superlative victories shared by these industry giants. Afterwards, participants were treated to a fantastic networking cocktail on the terrace of the exclusive Capital Club Lagos where conversations continued late into the evening, forming new bonds and friendships

The LBS Brown Box Series serves as a platform to showcase the transformative journeys of LBS Alumni and their impact in their industries and society at large. It is an exclusive limitedseat networking event capturing stories of our alumni in 20 minutes or less per speaker Each speech is shared much later on our social media platforms to inspire action and change in our society.

This edition of the meeting focused on the changing corporate reporting landscape and the role of sustainability management in a volatile economy. Discussions will cover new frameworks like the IFRS S1 and S2, new sector standards of the GRI, trends in change management and strategic priorities.
