INTRO
New - World Mixture of curiosities : Something you never experienced, something you didn’t to refuse, something you want to experience
A
s the world changes quickly, so does the trend. Here is the macro trend named “NEWWORLD” for 2020/21 FW season. In the new world, people are curious about things around us and constantly pursue new experience. Some want to experience things from the past that they have never experienced. Or some want to challenge themsleves that they haven't had contact with. Or some want to learn new experiences in the unambiguous spaces of virtual and real life. NEW-WORLD trend is focusing on people’s inquisitiveness that leads them to experience new memory. Under the theme, there are three micro trends; Newtro, Pretty freak and Virtual. Each micro trends are representing people’s three kinds of curiosities. Curiosity about things you don’t know; Curiosity about things you are hesitant with; Curiosity about new things.

Newtro The first curiosity : We want to know about past masterpieces !
N
EWTRO is a combination of two words, new + retro, but has quite dierent meaning from retro. This means that the younger generation, who have never experienced the past culture, is interested in the past and spending it on a new culture. We want to see, feel, and experience something our peers have never experienced. We find it in the past. We are inspired by the analog and classic sensibility. The colors of NEWTRO are mostly muted tone, taken from the faded items.

Pretty Freak The Second curiosity : we’ve been avoiding it so far, but we want to experience it for a while
W
e want our memories to be remained as pretty memory. But sometimes, everyone is reminded of a strange but special experience at one time. When you think of all the gross and disgusting things, the experience will stay as your imaginagion. What if they are hidden in sweet and soft colors, we may love that disparate look. It's time to express something crazy but lovely in the same time. The colors of PRETTY FREAK are tone-down pastel that gives us warmth.

virtual The last curiosity : it’s too vivid to be a fiction
A
s digital technology continues to evolve, the real and virtual boundaries are now disappearing. With the introduction of new technologies, we experience new virtual spaces. The connotation of the area is extraordinary, we can feel and touch the space. New technology is already melting into our lives. Is this space of intense color and vivid light real or virtual? The colors of VIRTUAL are vibrant neon colors of pink, orange, blue, and purple.
