Upon seeing a bald tourist, many locals exclaim ‘bung ujan’, which means today’s rain is cancelled – it’s their way of saying that the hairless head is like a clear sky.. Bali offers not just various customs but also various “adrenalin pump” parks. Many exciting amusements are available in Bali, with something new opening all the time. The number of offshore and inland attraction are on the rise because many tourists want them. This tropical paradise has a unique blend of modern tourist facilities combined with wonderful shopping and a rich past and heritage. After white water rafting that has gained popularity in Bali, comes offshore rafting or ocean rafting. The more adventurous sort of amusement has now become an alternative sport for tourists. Meanwhile white water rafting is still a popular activity with trips on Ayung, Telaga Waja, Unda Rivers, etc. The tourists can refresh their mind by watching beautiful scenery along the route. Those are not enough, some of the best surfing beaches in the world can be found on the western side of the island whilst conversely the eastern side is a wonderful haven for families, with beautiful white sand beaches and gentle seas. The culture of Bali is unique. People say that the Balinese people have reached self-content. The Balinese people are proud of having preserved their unique Hindu culture against the advance of Islam, the dominant religion throughout Indonesia. This is still reflected in days to day life and can be seen in the numerous ceremonies, Balinese festivals and magnificent temples and palaces. The Balinese are skilled artisans, particularly in woodcarving and in fashioning objects of tortoiseshell and of gold, silver and other metals. The Balinese are noted for their traditional dance, the distinctive music of the gamelan and for their skills in weaving cloth of gold and silver threads, Songket, as well as for embroidering silk and cotton clothing. Stone and woodcarvings, traditional and modern paintings and intricately designed jewelry in gold and silver are readily available in shops and galleries throughout the island. As for recreation, there is no shortage of options. Nature walks, horseback riding, diving, surfing - even bungy jumping and white water rafting - await the adventurous.

tio for almost anything the island has to offer (particularly hotels and resorts, restaurants, private villas, and spas) the unique, vibrant and alive culture, the physical beauty of the island, and the year-round pleasant climate make Bali a place regarded by many visitors as the “Ultimate Island Holiday Destination”. You can find everything your heart desires – Bali is perfect for backpackers traveling on a shoestring-budget, and for super luxury holiday seekers looking for a private villa with cook, driver and spectacular views. The amount of choices at hand can be quite overwhelming – even for the seasoned traveler. You might look for one of the best surfing experience Indonesia has to offer? Or you seek a relaxing, luxurious time out? You look to discover a different culture authentically? Stay in the best hotels and resorts and pay little? Get pampered in the best spas in Asia or get relaxing foot massages in one of the many small and really cheap spas that are scattered all over the island? All is there! Bali can show an ugly face when it comes to excessive alcohol consumption and any encounter with illegal drugs. Getting in touch with drugs on Bali can put you into jail straight away. If you get totally drunk in shabby bars, drive under the influence of alcohol or marijuana, spend time with girls who charge for their company, or decide to be careless with your belongings in a dodgy place, then Bali can indeed become a nightmare. Criminal energy is probably the highest around Kuta area. Welcome to Bali, enjoy.

WHY BALI

Tourism in Indonesia is an important component of the Indonesian economy as well as a significant source of its foreign exchange revenues. The vast country of sprawling archipelago has much to offer; from natural beauty, historical heritage to cultural diversity. According to the World Travel and Tourism Council, the direct contribution of travel and tourism to Indonesia’s GDP in 2014 was IDR 325,467 billion (US$26,162 million) constituting 3.2% of the total GDP. By 2019, the Indonesian government wants to have doubled this figure to 8 percent of GDP and the number of visitors needs to double to about 20 million.[1] The tourism sector ranked as the 4th largest among goods and services export sectors. In 2016, the government was reported to be investing more in tourism development by attracting more foreign investors. The government has given priority to 10 destinations as follows: Borobudur, Central Java; Mandalika, West Nusa Tenggara; Labuan Bajo, East Nusa Tenggara; Bromo-TenggerSemeru, East Java; Thousand Islands, Jakarta; Toba, North Sumatra; Wakatobi, Southeast Sulawesi; Tanjung Lesung, Banten; Morotai, North Maluku; and Tanjung Kelayang, Belitung. CENTRAL PARK

CITY HALL

Arguably one of the most famous parks in the world, Central Park is a manmade wonder. Not only is it the first public park built in America, but it is also one of the most frequently visited, with over 25 million guests per year. With recreational facilities abounding, the more energetic won’t have a problem finding a spot to skate, pedal, row, dribble, or climb to his or her heart’s delight. Although Central Park has 21 official playgrounds, we like to think of it as one gigantic jungle gym

One of the nation’s oldest city halls, the seat of New York City’s government is also among the most impressive. Architecture aficionados flock here for the majestic rotunda, Corinthian columns and arched windows. History buffs love the Governor’s Room, where everyone from Abraham Lincoln to Albert Einstein has visited. And, of course, this is also the place to see the inner workings of NYC’s government—the mayor’s office on one side, the City Council on the other.

CHARGING BULL Arturo Di Modica first conceived of the Charging Bull as a way to celebrate the can-do spirit of America and especially New York, where people from all other the world could come regardless of their origin or circumstances, and through determination and hard work overcome every obstacle to become successful. It’s this symbol of virility and courage that Arturo saw as the perfect antidote to the Wall Street crash of 1986.

Unexpected Fact

Angel Falls is the world’s tallest waterfall. He falls are 3230 feet in height, with an uninterrupted drop of 2647 feet.

Canaima National Park was formed by the Venezuelan Government in 1962, with an area of 1 million hectares. This was increased to 3 million hectares in 1975, making it one of the largest national parks in the world. Canaima National Park is spread in south-eastern Venezuela along the border between Guyana and Brazil. The best-known feature of Canaima National Park are its characteristic flat-topped mountain formations known as ‘tepuis’ which cover roughly 65% of the

How much? This is the highest waterfall in the world. The falls are named after an American flyer, Jimmy Angel, who was searching for gold and instead found the falls. By its very size and because of its spectacular scenery and vast natural resources, Canaima National Park is truly one of the world’s greatest natural wonders.

The park protects significant populations of 5 endangered mammal species: giant river otters, ocelots and giant armadillos. Canaima harbours nearly half of the neotropical migratory birds that winter in South America; many are of conservation priority, including the osprey, American swallow-tailed kite and broad-winged hawk. The park’s highlands provide habitat for nearly 100 bird species, including 29 species found nowhere else Prices may vary according to season, fares and availability.

Disney used it for inspiration in the movie Up. Looking for a location to develop their next animated feature, they decided to travel to that magical place. Not only did they hone their story there, but they found another “character” the landscape itself, much of which inspired the film’s dreamlike locations. Opened Friday with Venezuela as one of its main characters, as director Pete Docter and story supervisor Ronnie del Carmen told the AP in a recent interview. We spent three days drawing, painting, taking lots of photographs. Really, a lot of ideas grew out of this mysterious rock shapes that look like people. That’s real and we put it in the film. I think, boy! When people see this When we have a feature of the documentary on the DVD they will want to go. I hope everybody is respectful of the location and don’t ruin them ‘cause they are really beautiful places.
