Match ticket ballot

Tigers can now confirm details of plans for a match ticket ballot for the return of supporters to Mattioli Woods Welford Road.

Current government guidelines indicate that Tigers will be able to welcome a reduced crowd for the final home game of the regular season, against Bristol Bears on Saturday, June 5 (3.00pm) in line with the proposed easing of Covid restrictions.

An email has been sent to all 2020-21 season ticket holders containing step-by-step instructions on how and when to join the ballot and how to apply as a social bubble of up to six family or friends (who must all be 2020-21 season ticket holders).

Tickets for this fixture will all be sold at a flat rate of £15, with the option to make a donation to support the club’s work in the community.

Check your email In Box now (and Junk Mail just in case) to see how you can join this process.

You will need your Tigers Reference Number (TRN) which is printed on your season ticket card. If you are applying on behalf of others in your social bubble who are also season ticket holders, you will also need each of their TRNs before you can proceed.

Note that due to restrictions within the stadium, places will be allocated where available and your regular season ticket places cannot be guaranteed.

All ballot applications must be made before midnight on Monday, May 3.

Successful applicants will be notified via email and text message (to the lead booker only if the application is for multiple season ticket holders) and they will have 72 hours to complete the purchase of their tickets from that point.

The club requests that supporters enter the ballot only if you are certain you can attend to ensure as many season ticket holders as possible can share in this opportunity to join a us on matchday.

This ballot is for the Tigers versus Bristol Bears fixture as the only game open to supporters at this point.

Check out your email now – there is also a Frequently Asked Questions page on the club website. If your question is not answered there, you can contact the Tigers ticket office via email tickets@tigers.co.uk or phone 0116 319 8888 (option 2).

Academy

The Tigers Academy team will take part in a revised campaign with their opening fixture next weekend.

Without a competitive match since February 2020, when the Academy completed a third Premiership Rugby Under-18 League title, Tigers kick off a month-long mini-season against Gloucester next Saturday.

Unfortunately, fixtures at this stage remain closed to supporters. Look out for updates on the club website.

Shop open

The Club Shop at the stadium is now open to visitors and for click-andcollect orders. With the easing of Covid restrictions, the shop has re-opened in the Robin Hood Stand, stocking replica kit, training and leisure wear, the Captains Collection and souvenirs so there is plenty of choice to check out.

Social distancing measures are in place and face coverings must be worn at all times. Shop hours are 10.00am-4.00pm MondaySaturday (closed on Sundays and home matchdays).

Parking is available in the Crumbie Car Park, with access from Aylestone Road.

Online services remain available all day, every day with the option to collect your order from the stadium shop.
