HELLO! HOPE EVERYONE'S DOING GREAT.
Before we start, make sure to prepare these: Look at the picture on the right, these are the materials we need: Scissors Marker Glue Stick Pipe cleaners or bendy straws Squares of coloured paper Colourful Tissue Paper
TOPIC FOR THE DAY
Making Paper Tulips!
Step One: Choose your square paper and fold it diagonally in the middle so that your paper Step Two: Draw half of a tulip along looks like a triangle! the folded line, like the above photo
Step Three: Cut slowing along the line you drew. Remember don't cut along the middle fold line
Step Four: Open up the paper to reveal your tulip!
Making Paper Flowers!
Step One: Choose your square paper and fold it diagonally in the middle so that your paper Step Two: Fold your triangle in half looks like a triangle! Step Three: again. Fold it again!
Step Four: Fold the outside corner towards the folded middle of the triangle.
Paper Flowers Continued
Step Five: Cut off the excess paper above the folded paper.
Step Six: Draw you petal Step Seven: along the folded line. Cut out the flower, Leave 1cm from the along the line you drew. bottom.
Step Eight: Open up the paper to reveal your flower! Glue pipe cleaner or bendy straw to the back of the flower.
Making Carnations! Note: Follow the flower making instructions until Step 5
Cut small 'v' shapes along the top
Materials Needed Please use tissue paper
Add glue to the end of the straw and stick Continue to add glue and the individual petals petals around the straw until around the straw. the flower is full.
Carnations Continued
Cut 2 thin leaves, one Glue your leaves to the for each side of the flower straw under the flower
Making Leaves!
Fold a square or rectangle of green paper in half
Draw your leaf shape on the rectangle
Cut along the lines you've drawn
Open to reveal all your leaves! Glue these on, above or behind your tulips, flowers and carnations!
Putting it together!
Final Steps! Glue the pipe cleaners or bendy straws to the back of your flowers with the glue stick. Press it to make sure it stays.
For the vase, I cut the bottom of a water bottle. You can either paint the water bottle or covered it in coloured paper. I painted flowers on mine to match the Damascus vases!
