LIVING ROOM
COASTAL NONCHALANCE WITH LAYERS OF WORDLY TEXTURE In the living room, a handwoven raffia ceiling evokes the laid-back coastal setting. At the same time, custom millwork and vintage found furniture from around the globe reflect the property's history and the far-flung travels of Captain Robert Calder. A custom, hand-carved cabinet serves as the check-in area, flanked in a floral pattern and bronze signage from the original property, featuring names of Nantucket flora.

FARAWAY The story of a pedigreed, Nantucket-bred whaling captain's life time devotion to the sea and the ship upon which he sails. While his demeanor aboard ship is steadfast and his work regimented, when he retires to his stately home a playful mischievous side is illuminated. Here a fanciful sense of folly is something to be discovered. Lead Designer *CONFIDENTIAL
