Reunited at last…
It has been a long time coming but the Greeting card industry will be reunited at last when PG Live returns to the Business Design Danilo Centre on July 27 and 28. Few would have predicted that Spring Fair back in February 2020 would have been the last time many people in the greeting card industry would actually get together in one place to share what was new and exciting in their ranges and collections. But as months and then a year passed, trade shows of any size were non-existent and just when we hoped things would re-open, plans changed time and time again. But finally, July 2021 sees the return of trade events and PG Live, giving everyone
the chance to meet up, discover new ranges, be inspired by new designers and reunite with colleagues. PG Live is promising to have a host of new launches from new names to the industry as well as old favourites that continue to sell well, plus there will some great gift, stationery and party lines to complement the card collections. The line-up of exhibitors includes The Art File, Belly Button Designs, Ling Design, Dandelion Stationery, James Ellis, Emma Bryan, Paperlink, UK Greetings, Cath Tate Cards, Wendy JonesBlackett, Danilo, Hallmark, Jessica Hogarth, Cheeky Chops, Words ‘n’Wishes, Pigment, Woodmansterne and many more. There will also be an exhibition of greeting card designs from the past century. Unveiled at the GCA’s 100th anniversary AGM and celebration in 2019, the GCA’s Centenary Exhibition shows how styles and tastes have changed over time as well as innovations in the industry. Design House, the exhibition includes pieces from personal and company archives as well as museums and auctions. Buyers from retailers big and small will be in attendance to check out the show, we hope you all enjoy being back together again and find just what you’re looking for.
