Irresistible Jewels and Elegant Timepieces Finally, as we emerge from an extended period of lockdown in Melbourne throughout which we have seen the business adapt and evolve into a virtual environment - we welcome the gradual reopening of our building to the public. We look forward to meeting you for in-person viewings, to inspect and savour the pieces offered within our November Fine Jewels and Timepieces collection. This quarter promises a fine selection of signed pieces, large diamonds and coloured diamonds. Our highlights include our front cover piece, Lot 110, a wonderful vintage gold and lapis lazuli collar by Cartier, Lot 115, an impressive solitaire diamond ring of 8.05cts by Sydney jeweller Raphael, and Lot 182, a rare blue and pink diamond ring. Pearls feature throughout the collection and include Lot 117, a beautiful opera length strand of large pale golden pearls, as well as Lot 98, a pair of impressive stud earrings by Autore, and Lot 69, a pair of golden pearl and diamond drop earrings.

Our collection of timepieces presents classic designs and collectable pieces from renowned watchmakers, including Rolex, Audemars Piguet, Hublot, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Omega and Girard-Perregaux, to name a few. Our auction concludes with Part 1 of The Rothschild Collection, comprising an eclectic mix of jewellery collected over many years, including large cocktail brooches and some wonderful statement pieces, with Part 2 to be held on Thursday 3rd December. Estimates are inclusive of any GST, which may be applicable. Actual prices at this sale may fall short or exceed the estimates. Removal Charges Each lot: $55 Storage Charges Each lot: $33 per day Protection of Movable Cultural Heritage Act 1986 (PMCH Act) Buyers should be aware of the PMCH Act which protects Australia’s heritage of movable cultural objects and supports foreign countries’ right to protect their heritage of movable cultural objects. The PMCH Act regulates the export of

nationally significant heritage objects, it is not intended to restrict normal and legitimate trade in cultural property, and does not affect an individual’s right to own or sell objects, within Australia. The PMCH Act was enacted in response to the 1970 UNESCO Convention on the Means of Prohibiting the Illicit Import, Export and Transfer of Ownership of Cultural Property. It is the responsibility of the Buyer to ensure that the export of any lots purchased are not subject to, or in breach of, this Act.
