LEARNING
CENTER Diploma project
The project is built as a critical response to the ecological impact of globalization, particularly in the textile industry. The project proposes an alternative, ecological and local organization. This one is based on the reintroduction of the operations of transformation of the linen, an exemplary ecological fiber, as close as possible to its territory of culture. Thus, a mixed production space is created in the city of Dieppe, located in the Seine Maritime, the most productive region of flax in France, itself a world leader in this culture.
6
We find in this project all the stages of transformation of the textile flax, from the thread to the garment. Associated with this, and in a desire to constitute a mixed ensemble that is integrated into its urban context, the project also brings together a learning center that acts, with the adjacent public spaces, as an urban attractor on the scale of the district. The production spaces are fragmented according to the stages of transformation, in order to multiply the relations to the exterior. These are finally connected by a looped circulation, which frames a garden accessible to both workers and city residents at different times. This mix of production space, public space and public equipment characterizes the project and anchors the industrial activity in its urban context.
Above, ground floor plan presenting the production halls and the looped circulation connecting them. Below, cross section showing the different production halls throughout the year.

TOURISTIC AND URBAN RENEWAL
Duo project
This project takes place in the EuroAsian Design Studio, working alongside the Tongji University of Shanghai. The site is located in Jinshan, in the southern coast of the Shanghai Metropolis. The aim is to rethink the area arround the Fishing village of the city, which is the main tourisitcal attraction. The project includes tourisitic activities, but also a reconnexion with the rest of the city and a set up with the new reclamation area in front of the village.
Our vision for the site is to take advantage of the existing waterways and really rethink the water within the territorial matrix. By doing that, we’re able to create a completely new and soft mobility network that can be extended in the whole city. And along this network will take place particular activities that will boost, extend and create a new touristic experience, very different from the mass tourism and consumering one.
Different point of view inside the village, where each one have its own atmosphere.
draft map exploring the new possibilities in the fishing village and its urban area.

This building brings together exhibition spaces, a performance hall, and various artistic practice rooms (dance, music, theatre, etc.). The concept of this project is to use the exhibition space as a way of moving around the building and connecting the entrance hall and the performance hall.

MULTIPLE HOME HOUSING PROJECT
Group project
14
The goal here is to bring together three households on the same plot. The project incorporates a fully glazed restaurant on the ground floor as well as dwellings in a separate wing. The other two apartments are in the upper floors. All in a sober volume and all in horizontality. The meeting point for these three families is the shared restaurant, who’s open to everyone in the neighboorhood and the commun garden.

ENTRANCE KIOSK OF AN ADVENTURE PARK.
The project here is to create a reception station for an adventure park in the forest. It is made of the association of two simple elements. First, a wide shell protecting the counter and creating an entrance arch. The second is a series of stakes evoking the trees of the forest and making the adventure begin right at the entrance.

This micro architecture offers 3 different points of view on 3 landscapes. That’s why we have 3 platforms with different heights. In addition, the double skin associated with the progressive height allows the user to have a vision who becomes clearer and clearer as he experiences the structure.

INTERIOR ARCHITECTURE
The aim here is to extend a chalet in the Vosges massif, in France. This allows to propose new spaces complementary to those existing while linking the two in a homogeneous volume. The interior design has been a important part of the work.
