BATHHOUSE BUILDING

The material of the building is local stone, a material with great thermal mass, traditionally used in that area to keep a balanced internal temperature.

Front openings and roof windows along with 5-metre height, stimulate the stack effect, for natural ventilation of the spa.

Worked on Stages 0-4. This project is a refurbishment of a 5-storey apartment building in Thessaloniki Greece. My main role was to define the spatial cordination of the flats in comunication with the client. I also designed the facade and carried out the 3D modeling and rendering.

Refurbishment of two neboring flats

This freelance project refers to a full rufurbishment of two neighboring flats, located in the 3rd floor of a six floor apartment building in Thessaloniki, with views to a central square. The client’s brief was to rearrange the flats’ bounderies in order to provide front views to both apartments. A new kitchen was designed, new floorings and sliding doors and windows were installed, lighting, heating and cooling systems were also replaced to achieve more efficient energy use.
