To achieve the objectives of this project, we will have the opportunity to create a culture of sustainability for today's students and set their expectations for how the world will be run. At the same time, the project focuses on creating healthier, cleaner, safer and more productive workplaces for university and student staff.

INTRODUCTION 1.2
Project Brief
Development of parts of the King Abdulaziz University campus, which in turn increases the productivity of students and users. We believe in the importance of this project, which focuses on the university environment that affects users directly. Along with the problems of oil and natural gas negatively affecting the lives of future generations, we have taken a consistent approach to working on the existing campus and turning it into a sustainable campus that serves the functional purposes required of it efficiently without the need to build new facilities at high costs; Based on strategies for environmental sustainability with a focus on providing a comfortable work environment conducive to innovation and achievement. Summary 2 Redevelopment parts of the campus in a way that addresses the urban design problem on an average area of 100,000 square meters

The urban fabric of the campus started from the south side on Abdulla Sulaiman Street. It is one of the most important buildings in Al-Habqa College of Economics and Administration. It was the first since the establishment of the university. Some of the other faculties included some open squares between them and the green areas. Then (68 students - 30 students).
Expanding the scope of the campus to show new buildings and services such as the Sports Stadium and the University Hospital in its medical colleges and the King Fahd Library, the urban fabric of the campus has changed from the south to the north west to the university hospital. In terms of intercollegiate relations and public spaces, the relationship has unintegrated
The expansion of the campus has increased and the faculties that were in the southern part of the campus have moved to the university center in one academic field. The old buildings have been dedicated to women. Thus, the campus has been divided into two parts, which were separated by the Colleges Street.

Definition of urban design
Urban design is the process of shaping the setting for life in cities, towns and villages. Urban design involves the design of buildings, groups of buildings, spaces and landscapes, and the establishment of frameworks and processes that facilitate successful development .It is the collaborative and multi disciplinary process of shaping the physical setting for life in cities, towns and villages.[1]

WHAT MAKES A SUCCESSFUL PLACE?
-Sense of place and history A place that responds to and reinforces locally distinctive patterns of development and landscape.
-Clarity of form A place where public and private space are clearly distinguished.
-Connectivity and permeability Roads, footpaths and public spaces connected into well-used routes .
Successful streets, spaces, villages, towns and cities tend to have qualities in common. And this is the fundamental qualities of successful places, which all development must contribute to[1]
Historical Jeddah was chosen as an example because of its urban design success because it was designed in a spontaneous manner according to human needs

Definition of sustainability
Sustainable terms and sustainability are used to describe many different approaches to improving our way of life. Sustainability has no fixed definition. Here are some views on what sustainability can include.
Pillars of sustainability Sustainable development is based on the three pillars of sustainability: economic, environmental and social sustainability:
Definition of sustainability Environmental
Sustainability
The ability to meet the needs of the current world population without Affecting the ability of future generations to meet their needs.(1) Economic
The ability to provide the best conditions for the environment and the human being both now and in the future.(2)
12
Social
A way to organize civilization and human activity so that the society and economy are able to meet their needs and express their maximum energies while at the same time preserving the biological diversity and natural system and planning to continue for a long time.(3)
Sustainability Goals
Sustainability means reducing damage to the environment. It means replenishment at or above its rate of consumption. It means living within the planet's resources without harming the environment now or in the future. It means the establishment of an economic system that provides quality of life with the renewal of the environment and its resources.
- Ending the suffering of poverty and hunger. - Better standards for education and health. - Achieving gender equality (gender) - Jobs and create strong economies. - Sustainability that includes land, air and sea health. - Ensure sustainable consumption - Building a flexible infrastructure and enhancing innovation.

Sustainable urban design
Sustainable urban design pillars . [4]
In the era of dwindling oil supplies and rising energy costs, the need for low energy lifestyles has never been greater. Urban design principles and practices bring together the ideas and plans to create enjoyable places to live, work and play while greatly reducing energy use.
To create productive, sustainable and liveable places for people through the sustainable urban design protocol that founded on five pillars: productivity - sustainability - liveability
leadership - design excellence
Sustainable urban design principles:
Definition of sustainable urban design
Twelve basic principles underpin the Protocol. These are divided into eight principles about design (outcomes) and four principles about leadership and governance (process). These principles, are interrelated with the five foundation pillars of the Protocol:
“Sustainable urban design is a process whereby all the actors involved work together through partnerships and effective participatory processes to integrate functional, environmental, and quality considerations to design, plan and manage a built environment that.[2] Urban planning: It is an attempt to create an atmosphere that allows communities to find the necessary means to achieve an appropriate living framework for their inhabitants, which provides comfort and welfare within cities.[3]
process
Sustainable urban design is an application of flexibility and sustainability theories in design, management and operation of urban communities.

What is the questionnaire?
Steps to design the questionnaire
The questionnaire is a group of diverse questions that are related to each other in a way that achieves the goal that the researcher seeks through the problem posed by his research. The questionnaire is sent by mail or in any other way to a group of individuals or institutions chosen by the researcher to discuss it to be filled and then returned to the researcher.
1. Determine the objective of the questionnaire in light of the objectives of the food education program.
When is the questionnaire used?
To obtain information, data and facts unknown only to the individuals concerned with the question of the questionnaire and can not obtain this information by another tool.
2. To develop a number of questions related to each subject of the questionnaire in light of the specific nutritional objectives.
Benefits of the questionnaire
1- The questionnaire facilitates the researcher to collect too many information from several people at a specific time. 2- The questionnaire does not cost physically in terms of its design compared to other means that require greater

Analysis
The analysis was done by using three methods:
Is the process through which data is processed using all methods in order to access useful information on which decisions can be made. Hence, the process of analyzing evidence is a very important process in all areas. Any report that a person must perform, write or decide to take, requires a data a n a l y s i s p r o c e s s . Te c h n o l o g y, especially the computer, has facilitated the process of data processing. Data processing is very fast using the computer. In addition to being smooth and a few errors, the computer greatly reduces errors in data analysis.

SWOT analysis is a tool commonly used in strategic planning. The letters stand for Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats. SWOT analysis has been a foundational tool in strategic planning since its development in the 1950s and 1960s and is still extensively used today , the SWOT analysis considered the standard approach to analyzing internal and external organizational environments and remains perhaps the most well-known strategic planning tool.
A High environmental quality (HGE) is to adds a sanitary, hydrological and vegetal dimension, can be integrated into architecture and utan design by limiting their harmful environmental impact. The HQE2R site charter envisages taking into account the targets for a better environmental quality.
Is a software program that includes a set of theories and techniques for spatial analysis of configurations. It is designed as a tool to help urban planners simulate the social effects of their designs.
