Weather Perth generally has fine mild weather during Autumn and Spring. Winter can be quite temperate, and you will require a coat some days. Summer is hot, hot, hot!! There are 119 rain days per year, with about 80% falling between May and Sept. Rain occurs on four days out of every seven on average during winter! Temp ranges: Winter 8-18C, Summer 18-31C. When it gets hot, head to the beach!
Time
Perth is on Western Standard Time (WST), as is the whole of WA. It is in the same time zone as Singapore! Adelaide and Darwin are one and a half hours agead of Perth, Melbourne, Sydney, Hobart, Brisbane and Canberra are all two hours ahead of Perth. There is no Daylight Savings in WA.

Many of Fremantle’s old buildings have been painstakingly restored and the West End of town is acclaimed as one of the best examples of a Victorian port streetscape in the world.There is a vibrant atmosphere in ‘Freo’; there is always something happening around the town, festivals, exhibitions, street performances, markets and concerts.

Kadidjiny Park in Melville was only opened last year, but is already a favourite for many families.The creative play space features a squiggly slide, climbing net, sandy bush tracks, rocks and limestones. Heathcote Reserve in Applecross is home to a giant wooden pirate ship. The playground also features spectacular views across the Swan Rivers, although younger visitors will probably be more impressed with the swings and ice cream kiosk.
