Welcome to the Swan Valley, just 25 minutes from the bustling Perth city centre - and yet a whole world away.
Did You Know The Swan Valley is filled with historic attractions. The Valley is home to the oldest vines in WA, while the gateway to the Valley, Guildford, was established during the founding of the Swan River colony in 1829. Today Guildford is one of only two towns in Perth on the National Trust register and many fascinating colonial buildings from the township’s earliest days continue to grace the streets.
A fun and educational day out for the whole family! The Great Valley Rally and Amazing Valley Chase, similar to a treasure hunt/car rally, take families with young children on an exploration of the Swan Valley which is full of adventure and challenge. Each trail has its own distinct mascot and unique places to visit. This is a FREE activity, available any day of the year with instructions and a clue sheet available to download from the Swan Valley website or collect from the Swan Valley Visitors Centre in Guildford. Whale Watching in the Margaret River Area - Each year Humpback and Southern Right Whales make the long journey from Antarctica to the warm pristine waters of the Margaret River region. Flinders Bay in Augusta is the “first port of call” for many whales that come to feed, breed and play from June to September. Whale Watching here is a very unique experience because it’s one of the few places in the world you can observe Southern Right and Humpback whales interacting. From September to December you can watch whales in the north of the Margaret River region in the sheltered Geographe Bay. Endangered Blue Whales have also been spotted here.
Don’t forget to check out Cowaramup with its “Cow” themed streets. Take your camera and make sure you visit the “Candy Cow”. Whilst the region does have a reputation for its wine which mum and dad will love, there is plenty of activities to keep the young ones happy.

...Thank you for the birthday party today, it was great. All the kids had such an excellent party and parents have been saying their child said it was the best party ever and my little birthday boy also said the same that he had the best party and wants the same next year. His Perth glory ball has taken pride next to his bedside! Thank you so much, you made such an easy party for me and a great party for the kids! We will be signing Declan up for the Glory Soccer School in term 2 so he will see you then ~Gemma
