JEANS, JEWELS & THE J: A CLASSIC NEVER FADES The Levis JCC’s Jeans, Jewels & the J – A Classic Never Fades was a sparkling success! Held at Boca West Country Club and chaired by Melissa Emihovich, Robin & Gary Rubin, Andrea & Larry Schnurmacher, and Judi & Allan Schuman the event brought together more than 400 people for a fun-filled evening to benefit the programs and services of the Levis JCC. The Boca Raton Observer was the Exclusive Magazine Sponsor. Four of the Levis JCC’s valued supporters were honored during the January 28th event: Nina & Martin Rosenzweig were presented with the Phyllis & Harvey Sandler Crystal Award, and Carolyn & Sean Bachrodt were presented with the Shirley & Allan B. Solomon Leadership Award. Both couples are committed to the continued success of the organization and join Levis JCC leadership and staff in putting their energy and resources into continuing more than 30 years of being a place everyone can call home.

8TH ANNUAL ‘SPECIAL NIGHT FOR SPECIAL NEEDS’ CELEBRATES ‘DREAM BUILDERS’ On Tuesday, March 7, more than 100 caring community members and leaders gathered at the home of Karen & Steve Irwin in Boca Raton for the Levis JCC’s 8th Annual ‘Special Night for Special Needs’ Dream Builder Cocktail Reception. Chaired by Linda & Ivan Gefen and the Irwins, and generously sponsored by Craig Donoff, PA, the event showcased the 20 programs that comprise the Schwedelson Special Needs Department. The gathering also paid tribute to Judi & Craig Donoff for their dedication, and passionate support as well as for their tireless energy and commitment to our programs and services for individuals with special needs and their families.
