Adult Fitness Classes
Tai Chi for Health & Balance $72 Resident • $82 Non-Resident This class will introduce simple Tai Chi movements to improve one’s health and balance to help prevent falling injuries. The class will start with easy followalong warm-up Qigong exercise, Eight Pieces of Fine Brocades. Then, students will learn selected simple and easy-to-learn Tai Chi postures and movements focusing on gaining one’s balance to prevent falling and improve general health condition.

Indoor Fitness Boot Camp $150 Resident • $160 Non-Resident 8
This complete morning workout will be guided by Bodil Nilsson. The hour will include a dynamic stretching warmup and will progress through weight bearing, resistance, and cardiovascular exercises. Mat/floor work targeting specific muscle groups will also be incorporated. All levels of ability are welcome. Participants should bring a jump rope, exercise mat, two 5-10 lb. hand weights, and a water bottle. Participants will also receive an Early Morning/ Evening Gym ID Card.

Beginner and Intermediate Adult Table Tennis $120 Resident • $130 Non-Resident This program is designed for adults and seniors to learn table tennis skills and stay fit. Table tennis helps improve hand-eye coordination, reflexes, and balance. Adult Combined Martial Arts $150 Resident • $160 Non-Resident Come to the Community Center and join instructor Charles Crayton Jr., a 6th degree black belt and a retired Lexington Police Officer, for classes in combined martial arts. Come away learning Age Day Date Time Where self-defense moves of all kinds, and with a sharper mind, patience, and self-discipline.
