As an experienced artist from Montenegro, with six albums and countless hits in his musical portfolio, his songs are known to carry a delicate tune that blends beautifully with the lyrics inspired by love. On his quest for new sources of inspiration, Sergej discovered our beautiful settlement, where he and his family found their peaceful sanctuary. Read on to hear about his impressions of Luštica and get an insight into his go-to activities when visiting this destination.

Why is Luštica Bay your favorite place on the coast?

In 2019, I had the privilege to shoot the video for my song “Love” right here, at the premises of the beautiful Luštica Bay. Everyone who is familiar with my work, knows that this song holds a special place in my heart and I knew that finding the best setting to depict the beauty and subtlety of its music would be of the essence! Choosing Luštica Bay to be the scenery to tell this tale was indeed a perfect fit. Being surrounded with such scenic views and a breathtaking landscape, with the lines of that song echoing in the wind, created a bond with this place which I will always go back to. I am happy that a piece of this land, this jewel of the Montenegrin coast, is forever encapsulated in one of my videos. As an artist, I am always on the lookout for inspiration, and I love that whenever I find myself in Luštica, I feel as if I am at a movie set, secluded in a quiet, beautiful and authentic oasis that oozes with fantastic atmosphere, genuine charm and Mediterranean spirit. I am also pleased to hear that, over the course of years, Luštica has become a synonym for a perfect vacation getaway even way beyond its borders, shedding light on and promoting the most beautiful parts of Montenegro in the process.

What does Luštica Bay’s lifestyle concept “A place to belong” mean to you?

For me, it conveys the warm and pure feeling of belonging, the one that you have when you know you are where you are supposed to be. This feeling that you get here is something that distinguishes Luštica from other settlements, as it happens instantly and effortlessly, and I am sure that people who are not from Montenegro also feel that. And most importantly, in my opinion, you always have the desire to return to Luštica. I am most fascinated by the connection made with the sea in every sense, which is why this place is not only a beautiful tourist destination, but really a place where you want to spend most of your free time. It is beautiful during all seasons and that gives it a special charm.

Three favorite locations at Luštica Bay or activities? Gastronomic delicacies, beaches, favourite meal, activity…

I would not be able to single out just three, and that is yet another advantage of this place. I am particularly looking forward to the golf courses, and already see myself as an experienced and enthusiastic golfer, choosing the golf club with which to hit the 18th hole. Of course, now with Centrale well on the way and all the content it provides, this settlement’s story comes full circle and this is why I am happy to call Luštica my peaceful haven. A place where my children will grow up in feeling at home, with their childhood filled with countless beautiful images which they will carry with them through life.

What is the ideal family agenda for you to stay at Luštica Bay?

From my point of view, and I speak as someone in the public eye, I can certainly say that Luštica is an ideal place for a real holiday. Enjoying, laughing, having fun, relaxing, finding your peace, immersing both the body and mind in positive energy – what’s not to love? A place that does not burden you, but alleviates any stress with its simplicity, style and Mediterranean architecture.

You enjoy every moment and every step with all your senses, starting from the smallest aesthetic details, to, say, great artistic, musical and other events that are organized in Luštica. From the first morning coffee by the sea, until late at night, every moment is special and made memorable.

You recorded a video in Luštica Bay, which is the main reason why the backdrop of our destination was ideal for synergy with the song?

The song itself was looking for a place that will tell its love story regardless of the verses and notes. From the first moment, Luštica captivates you with its simplicity and good energy and immediately makes you wish you were here, on the promenade, the beach..I could not be happier that we have been able to tell our love story in that very place and that for the last three years, the song “Love” has been the one to which married couples dance to during their first dance and make their first steps as a family. Clearly, there is some magic there!
