Enduro is short for endurance, and competitions are held to test the rider’s ability to endure the difficult terrain and long riding time! The first recorded enduro race - the ISDE was held in 1913, at Carlisle, England!

Coming from all over the country, they often get together to head out into the wilderness to ride enduro - a particular style of riding that sees the rider take on rocky trails and difficult offroad terrain, as far away from paved roads as possible! It is a sport that encourages adventure and exploration, with the discovery of new trails and routes keeping the adrenaline rush alive in the team!

There is often the perception among those who don’t ride, that motorcyclists are a dangerous group, who relish in antisocial behaviour and live a life outside of the law. However, once you scratch below the surface you will realise that these rugged individuals are not so different from anyone else! Among the group there are

doctors, IT experts, managers and many more, all accomplished individuals who have a wild side and like to nourish it!

They now, not only ride together as a group, but offer tours to others who want to indulge the same adventurous instinct and get to grips with the wilds of Montenegro on the back of a bike!

With no time to be distracted by the trappings of everyday life, your only focus during endure riding is on the trail ahead and your connection to the machine beneath you, motivating pure presence that allows you to forget about everything else and live, truly, in the moment! It’s this unbridled sense of freedom that holds the team together - a shared passion and a desire to push boundaries!

Despite being such a small country, Montenegro has some of the most incredible mountains and trails to explore, such as Durmitor National Park, The Piva Mountains, The Morača Mountains and Orjen, making it extremely popular among enduro and adventure riders. The incredible mix of dirt roads, rocky outcrops, forest trails and mountain terrain offers riders a real challenge, while the famous hospitality of locals ensures that while riding through the villages in the mountains you always have an option should you need to stop to re-coup your energy!

When we asked the team to single out a favourite location to ride, they told us its the Morača Mountains! With its amazing network of mountain roads and breath-taking viewpoints it is one of the best places to ride - and with a cold beer at the Vučje Ski Centre, it is also one of the best places to finish a ride!
