The success of a business is inseparable from the prosperity of the community it calls home. This notion is perfectly reflected in our latest initiative – a donation of over 60,000 euros for the reconstruction and reopening of the pediatric department at the Tivat Health Center. This act is not just a gesture, it is a testament to our continuous commitment to creating communities where the well-being of every individual, especially the youngest among us, is a priority. We are pleased that our endeavors in this aspect have garnered acknowledgment and commendation from Montenegro’s government representatives, specifically Prime Minister Dr. Dritan Abazović and Minister of Health Dragoslav Šćekić. They praised the company’s involvement, underscoring the

significance of such partnerships in nurturing community wellbeing. Additionally, they expressed appreciation for Luštica Development’s ongoing dedication to investing in healthcare infrastructure and services. Being able to contribute to causes of such fundamental societal importance for our company is not an obligation, but a privilege. We firmly believe that prosperous businesses must serve as powerful catalysts for positive change, uplifting and empowering the very communities they are an integral part of. ver wondered what happens after you toss a glass bottle into the recycling bin? In as little as a month, that bottle can find its way back to the shelves, ready for a refill. Fast, efficient, and most importantly - planet-friendly. Luštica Bays’s strategic initiative to replace plastic bottles with those made of glass marks a commendable step in the direction of sustainability. Why glass? When it comes to sustainability, glass is the undisputed eco-champion. It is a 100% recyclable and endlessly reusable, with each glass bottle being a testament to Luštica Bay’s commitment to reducing its environmental footprint. The best part? The bottles are reusable and each time after use, they undergo strict sanitization, after which they are refilled with filtered water and sealed. These bottles are currently available in the Rental apartments in our settlement. On this project, we are glad to be partnering with The Chedi Luštica Bay, with whom we have signed a contract for sanitization and bottle delivery services. We plan to expand this mini project by introducing the use of similar bottles, but of smaller capacity, at meetiings with clients and guests of the company, along with an additional offering of bottles filled with sparkling water. Currently, we are also working on extending this initiative to specifically involve our employees. We plan to eliminate not only plastic bottles but also plastic gallons, replacing them with water dispensers for filtered water. Luštica Bay is not just changing bottles, we are changing the game. In this context, project managers and project team members recently engaged in a three-day Project Management Training. providing a deeper understanding of project management processes. From enhancing project planning skills to gaining a nuanced understanding of project implementation control, the training covered every aspect essential for steering projects from inception to completion. Luštica Development makes sure that the educational content provided to its employees is of the finest quality, which is why the training was conducted by esteemed professionals in the field, ensuring that the insights shared were not just theoretical but deeply rooted in practical industry expertise.

Introducing SLOBODAN SEKULIĆ,
a Senior Finance Manager running numbers and miles
M
eet Slobodan Sekulić, a sports enthusiast whose passion for running half marathons is so much more than a physical quest. For Slobodan, running a half marathon is a journey that challenges not just the body’s limits but also the depths of mental and emotional fortitude. The thing that makes it all worth it? That all-consuming and utterly exhilarating sense of accomplishment when crossing the finish line. Slobodan describes the half marathon as a perfect balance between a challenging long-distance race and an attainable goal for many runners. According to him, the multifaceted benefits that come as a result of this activity are too many to count, but he mentioned several that make a difference specifically for him. From enhancing his overall fitness and promoting cardiovascular well-being and muscle strength to the sense of unity that comes from sharing the journey with fellow runners, Slobodan enjoys every aspect of being part of such an interactive and supportive environment. The mental battles during the race contribute to the strengthening of resilience and confidence, making each race a win, regardless of the outcome. The solitude of long-distance running is not a lonely pursuit for Slobodan but a chance to dive into introspection and reflect on life. Slobodan’s involvement in charitable causes linked to half marathons adds a profound layer to his running passion. This is how running becomes not just another personal fitness goal, but a meaningful encapsulation of all those beliefs he holds dear. From what we were able to grasp, Slobodan’s story transcends running. It embraces challenges and pushes boundaries in order to conquer goals that might just seem unattainable. Their significance becomes even more amplified considering the enduring nature of life’s transient moments. This holds equally true for businesses, particularly those driven by a genuine desire to achieve meaningful and lasting impact in the world. it? It means respecting each other’s unique strengths and skills, embracing the power of collaboration, within and across destinations, and celebrating our collective successes. In Luštica Bay, the essence of our TeamOriented value comes to life through a range of initiatives aimed at boosting morale and fostering collaboration among our team members. Over the past two months, we have focused on the well-being of our workforce, providing them with valuable insights through two interactive training sessions: “Hustle for that Muscle” and “Eat Healthy, Be Nutrition Wealthy.” These sessions featured discussions led by doctors and health professionals from various fields, covering crucial topics related to health and well-being. Luštica Development’s dedication to fostering a Team-Oriented culture is not confined to internal initiatives. With social responsibility being a core mindset, Luštica Bay team joined hands in a beach cleanup at Bigova,
to commemorate Zero Waste Day. A collaboration with NGO Zero Waste Montenegro and The Chedi, this volunteer activity was more than just a cleanup, it materialized the TeamOriented spirit that values collective action for the greater good. We wanted to use an opportunity to take a moment to embrace the warmth of Pink October, the Breast Cancer Awareness Month. In order to commemorate this important cause, the company offered ten women from the Luštica Bay Team a chance to undertake routine breast examinations and get a deeper understanding of the importance of breast self-care. The activity was led and guided by a renowned oncologist, Dr. Tatjana Vuković, and we were happy to host her. As we conclude, we want to emphasize that the activities inspired by our TeamOriented value will persist, and we extend an open invitation for everyone to embrace them wholeheartedly.

ragons beware! In the mysterious waters of teambuilding and corporate dragon boat paddling, one name stands out - Ivana Marković, our very own Business Processes Policies and Procedures Manager. Ivana maneuvers through business processes with finesse, but she also happens to be quite skilled in conquering waves.
What is dragon boating, you ask? It is a traditional Chinese sport dating back to the 4th century BC that has evolved into a modern phenomenon involving colorful dragon-shaped boats, adrenaline-pumping paddling, and a whole lot of team spirit.
Well, aside from the cardio benefits and the chance to splash water on your colleagues, dragon boating is a unique combination of sport, culture, and fun. In the often tiring world of spreadsheets, deadlines, and business processes, dragon boating offers much-needed excitement and a whole lot of laughter.
