WHAT WAS YOUR INSPIRATION BEHIND THE STYLING FOR THIS PARTY SHOOT?
My daughter’s (and most tweens’) obsession with all things bubble tea led us to the concept for this party. We kept it cute and light-hearted, well suited for a 10 year old. We had the perfect venue in Le Petite Kids Tea & Spa, so put our own spin on the original tea party, inviting everyone to ‘Pop’ on over and Par-tea – for a fun-filled bubble tea making celebration.
WHAT WERE SOME OF THE UNIQUE FEATURES OF THIS SETUP?
The backdrop and cake setup became a giant boba tea: a clear round plinth filled with tiny black ‘pearl’ balloons, and a super-cute boba themed cake on top. We also had a setup of four glass drink dispensers, filled with a choice of base drinks needed to make bubble tea. The party table included everything required for boba tea: clear cups, heart-shaped boba straws, and three different types of pearl toppings. Lastly, the kids played a few rounds of Boba Bingo, with playing cards that matched our theme.

Do as much prep work as you can in advance. Fill treat boxes, organise signs and table paperie, think about games and activities, and figure out everything you need. The more you do in the lead-up will ensure a much less stressful party day!
