The Quartier Belvedere is a 25,000 sqm new district of Vienna. Right beside the main railway station, modern offices and flats, is the first coworking hotel. The name – Hotel Schani Wien, from the old Viennese term „Schanigarten“ – is not the only link between the traditional and the modern. Coworking in the lobby, events and exhibitions in the hotel, trendy modern interiors in the 135 smart rooms, and smartphones as room keys and for checking in: guests here will experience a truly modern Vienna. Yet Hotel Schani Wien has not forgotten its roots. Traditional elements of Viennese culture are an integral part of the hotel. Take the façade, for example, which incorporates a traditional Viennese woven seat design, and the „Schanigarten“ outside seating in the green hotel courtyard.
