Maggi and George Dawson have been in business for number of years they opened their first shop in Cullen in 2018 at the top of Seafield St.

15th November 2020 saw them move into what was the old newsagents shop at the square after undertaking a major renovation. Unknown to them we were about to go into another lengthy lockdown.

Not to be deterred throughout lockdown they have constantly updated their shop window and continued to sell online.

Now the doors are open again and they are delighted to welcome everyone back.

There is an eclectic mix of products for you to view from the 36 crafters, including themselves, who are displayed throughout this beautiful shop.

From gorgeous scented candles, to intricately designed metalwork and woodwork and much more.

All the crafters are local coming from between Banff and Elgin the furthest away is from Aberdeen.

Maggi and George originally opened the shop to sell their own woodwork. Once in and renovating the shop they realised that they could not make enough pieces to keep the shop and the large number of shows and events they normally attend at full stock. So they decided to invite local artists and crafters to come on board. This is a decision that has proved fruitful as they now have the type of shop they love shopping in themselves plus they have provided an outlet for many local crafters who can now make money from something they love doing.

There are many handmade pieces available to buy in the shop but both George and Maggi and many of their crafters offer a bespoke service for that something special.

They offer a bespoke laser engraving service too with their small laser engraver.

Open 6 days Thursday – Tuesday 10am – 5pm, Closed Wednesdays.
