Beyond providing quality workmanship and comprehensive design/build services, we strive to build a relationship of mutual trust and confidence with each of our clients’ large and small. We accomplish this by putting your priorities first and conducting ourselves with integrity in every aspect of our business.
As spring unfolds and new beginnings blossom, we’re reminded that some of the most meaningful investments aren’t financial—they’re in our communities, our faith, and the people around us. This month, our April issue is all about Investing In—whether it’s through service, generosity, or the pursuit of passion.
Stevens Creek Church is investing in souls this Easter season, opening their doors to all who seek hope and renewal. Executive Pastor Todd Sturgell shares how their Easter services are more than just a tradition—they're a celebration of life, love, and faith.
After the hurricane, QuickCall Services LLC stepped up in a big way, helping clear debris and restore normalcy. Their team’s quick response was an investment in the well-being of our community, proving that local businesses can make a lasting impact when it matters most.
Speaking of impact, a local family is investing in love by adopting a sweet little girl, and the community is rallying behind them with an upcoming BBQ plate fundraiser. It’s a beautiful reminder that sometimes, the best investments are made with open hearts.
And finally, we’re shining a light on Carrie Zeitler-Everitt, a gifted local artist who pours creativity and soul into her breathtaking work. Her art is an investment in beauty, expression, and storytelling—one that we’re lucky to experience.
No matter where you are in life, the things you choose to invest in—whether faith, service, family, or creativity—shape the world around you. We hope this issue inspires you to invest in something meaningful this season.
Wishing you a bright and beautiful April!

When Hurricane Helene passed through Evans, it left behind a path of destruction. Roads were blocked, homes were damaged, and entire yards were reduced to piles of debris. For Jason Marriner, owner of QuickCall Services LLC, the storm wasn’t just a challenge—it was a call to action.
“Just like everyone else, our property was impacted,” Jason recalls. “Our road was inaccessible for two weeks, and one of our trucks was crushed under three large trees. But the day after the storm, we met with our team to figure out how we could best serve our clients & community.”
Despite widespread power outages, road closures, and hazardous conditions, QuickCall Services jumped into action. Their first priority was ensuring that clients with urgent needs—those trapped by fallen trees or facing structural damage—received immediate help. From day one, their team worked tirelessly to clear driveways, remove trees from homes and fences, and restore access to businesses. “We are very proud of our employees, for putting
our clients’ needs first ahead of their own during this disaster recovery,” Jason says. Even after FEMA collections took place, QuickCall Services continued with their cleanup efforts, helping homeowners remove lingering debris. Now, with spring approaching, they are assisting clients with grading & sod installations to bring yards back to life.
“It was heartbreaking to see properties we’ve maintained for years reduced to dirt and debris,” Jason says. “But we’re working with our clients to not only restore their yards but make them even better than before.”
Through it all, QuickCall Services never stopped evolving to meet the needs of the community. Recognizing the struggle to secure dumpsters for cleanups after the storm, Jason made
the decision to invest in a fleet of rolloff dumpsters, ensuring that they are on hand in the future for client projects, when needed.
As a locally owned business, QuickCall Services is more than just a landscape company—it’s a team dedicated to serving their community like family. Their commitment to quality and care is summed up in their company motto: Going the extra mile, one yard at a time.

Hope for Hooves is more than just a farm— it’s a sanctuary where rescued horses help people find comfort, confidence, and peace.
Some families are built by blood, and others are built by love. For one local family, love has been the foundation of their bond with a little girl who had experienced a difficult past and needed a place to call home. Now, they are fighting to make that bond unbreakable through adoption—and they need the community’s help to do it.
On April 26th, Hope for Hooves will host a BBQ plate fundraiser to help cover the legal costs of the adoption, ensuring this child can stay in a safe, loving home. Adoption is a long and expensive process, and could cost the family up to $30,000, but every dollar raised will go directly to the legal team making this dream a reality. Any extra funds will be donated to Hope for Hooves, a place that has already played a huge role in this child’s healing journey.
Hope for Hooves is more than just a farm— it’s a sanctuary where rescued horses help people find comfort, confidence, and peace. The fundraiser will be a special event, bringing the community together for a meaningful cause in a place dedicated to healing and hope.
Everyone is welcome, whether you want to enjoy some BBQ, visit the farm animals, join in on crafts, or simply show your support. If you’re unable to attend, donations are also appreciated. However you choose to help, you’ll be part of something bigger— giving a child the security of knowing she is home, for good.
