Young At Heart
Everyone is always running from aging out, or feeling irrelevant. The one thing that keeps someone "youthful" is not their ageless skin or their confident style; it's their eagerness to explore. Exploring the new in an individual's life; learning a new skill, experiencing a new part of the world, or joining a new community. Without exploration, life can become monotonous and limiting.
Being young at heart takes a lot of energy, effort, and sometimes even sacrifice; sacrifice of an easier journey and often even welcomes more difficult situations or decisions. One challenge I live my life by is not to live in regret, and if an opportunity presents itself... take it! Mostly never will you regret going to the party, or going on the trip, or even taking the job. It might not work out the way you hope, but at least you are not left with that "what-if" wondering.
Exploring the world we live in only gives you more insight for your next chapter of life and gives you experiences to be able to relate to others with. How do you expect to succeed without trying and failing? This is one life! How fortunate are we that we get to live it fully!

ESCAPING THE ORDINARY NOT SO FAR AWAY
ARTICLE BY COURTNEY ADAMS | PHOTOGRAPHY BY BROCOFF PHOTOGRAPHY
Jones Farm is Nashville's newest destination to unplug. Experience Tennessee's nature in your backyard.
As the world seems to descend into an increasingly chaotic state, tranquility has become a rare and coveted commodity. Fortunately for the Nashville area, Jones Farm offers a much-needed respite. "For our guests, we aspire to create an environment where the hustle and bustle of daily life slows down, and they're able to take a step back to see what's important, relax, and take a beat from pounding the pavement."
The team at Jones Farm facilitates the rest and relaxation of its guests with a unique blend of natural elements. The property boasts short-term rentals (including cozy cottage cabins and larger lodges) nestled alongside a historic restored barn and saloon. Set amidst the beautiful Tennessee mountainside, "Guests can enjoy a peaceful walk around the pond while being greeted by our ducks, enjoy farm fresh eggs from our chickens, meet our rare albino turkeys, take a dip in (or a moment of pause to listen to) the peaceful and tranquil sounds of the Sycamore Creek.
Guests can enjoy food and drinks served on-site from Jones Farm Kitchen. All of our rentals are cozy and have fire pits and park-style grills for those looking for a fun 'glamping' experience." This signature cocktail of nature, simplicity, quality food, and connection proves a particularly potent antidote to chaos.
And while Jones Farm is certainly a haven from the turmoil that lies in the outside world, it's not limited to simply providing a place for rest and relaxation. Jones Farm is so multi-faceted, that it can serve as an ideal space for a wide variety of events - such as concerts, retreats, workshops, and even weddings. Its location, only 20 minutes outside of Downtown Nashville, makes it the ideal spot for those who are seeking both the calm and beauty of the countryside and proximity to the excitement of downtown nightlife.
No matter the nature of the event that takes place at Jones Farm, "guests will be able to come out and enjoy great southern food, hospitality, music, and more." This spirit of hospitality emanates from the owner himself, Layton Jones. Jones was raised in Mississippi with faith, family values, and a strong work ethic as central tenets. Of course, being the product of a Southern upbringing, football was also central to his childhood and as such, he played tight end at Ole Miss University. After college, his athletic abilities took him all the way to Poland, where he played professional football and had the opportunity to travel and experience life outside of the US.
As enriching as travel can be, it can also reignite a love and appreciation for home - a longing for the wide-open spaces that the American South has in spades. When Jones returned home, he settled in Nashville and started his business in real estate and land development. And by virtue of starting Jones Farm, Layton is creating connections in the community. "When people ask us what we do, we always say the list is shorter of what we don't do. We are continuously growing our network and partnering to put together the best retreats, events, private parties, weddings, and more.” Layton welcomes new partnerships with local businesses, stating, 'Network is our net worth.’
As for the patrons, Jones Farm has some exciting new packages, events, loyalty programs, and payment options that they will be rolling out soon, as they're passionate about, "bringing people together and creating lasting memories." Let a view of the Tennessee mountains, the taste of farm fresh food, and the calming sounds of nature provide a respite that will restore the soul and set the spirit anew.

HOW TO MAINTAIN HEALTHY SKIN WITH NASH INJECTIONS BY HANNAH
Healthy, glowing, skin is IN- and we sat down with Nash Injections Co-Founder, Advanced Injector, and Skin Health Expert, Hannah Morse, RN to get the scoop on how to keep your skin your best asset.
Hannah started by sharing: “One question I hear frequently from clients is, "What one product can address all my skincare concerns?"
The reality is, there isn't a single miracle product that can fix everything. Our skin, being the largest organ of the body, requires a comprehensive approach to address various issues like dryness, oiliness, and inflammation—all of which stem from cellular dysfunction.
The key to healthy skin starts with strengthening the skin barrier function. This critical step helps correct skin weakness, sensitivity, and dryness and restores overall health. A strong skin barrier maintains the epidermal balance of water, lipids, and protein, and regulates natural exfoliation for a healthy 6-week cycle of epidermal renewal.
When guiding clients through their skincare journey, Hannah recommends starting with a multi-step routine with at least four products. After six weeks, she reassesses their progress and fine-tunes their regimen to address specific concerns such as aging, pigmentation, acne, or rosacea.
HERE’S WHAT HANNAH EMPHASIZES:
• Medical-grade skincare: This can be used to treat skin issues with medical-grade products because they are indeed medical concerns.
• Consistency: Stick to your skincare routine for the best results.
• Personalized treatment plans: Tailor your regimen to your unique skin needs.
• Preventive and corrective care: Skincare isn’t just about fixing problems; it’s about preventing them too.
Q: WITH THE NASHVILLE SUMMER IN FULL SWING, WHAT DO YOU RECOMMEND LOOKING FOR IN SUNSCREEN?
A: When selecting a sunscreen, consider your skin type and needs:
• SPF 45 or higher: Provides ample protection.
• Ingredients: Look for titanium dioxide and zinc oxide.
• Coverage: Ensure broad-spectrum protection against UVA/UVB, HEV, and IR-A.
• Personal preference: Decide if you prefer a glowy or matte finish, coverage or no coverage, and mineral-based versus chemical sunscreens.
Our favorite is the ZO® Smart Tone Broadspectrum Sunscreen SPF 50, named 2024 Sunscreen of the Year by Shape Skin Awards. We love it because it offers comprehensive protection, a lightweight feel, and a bronzed glow. Plus, it inhibits future pigmentation.
Q: HOW OFTEN SHOULD YOU GET MICRONEEDLING TREATMENTS?
A: For optimal results, I recommend a series of at least four microneedling sessions, spaced four weeks apart. If targeting specific concerns like acne scarring,

additional sessions might be necessary
Q: WHAT ADVICE COULD YOU SHARE WITH OUR READERS ABOUT THEIR SKINCARE JOURNEY?
A:
• There is no one-size-fits-all approach. Each person's skin ages differently based on factors like genetics, lifestyle, and sun exposure.
• Don’t let other people influence you. Who’s to say when or if you should change something about yourself? If it doesn’t bother you, then you don’t need to change it.
• Choose a caring professional. Look for someone who listens, communicates options clearly, educates you, and prioritizes your overall well-being.
• Verify qualifications. Ensure your provider is licensed, highly trained, and experienced in the specific treatments you seek.
• Don’t chase deals when it comes to your health and beauty treatments! Discounted services can come with risks like expired products or unqualified injectors. Prioritize your practitioner's qualifications over cost.
At Nash Injections by Hannah, their mission is to empower clients with personalized care and exceptional results. Your skincare journey should enhance your confidence and overall well-being, guided by a trusted professional who truly cares about you.

Cut The Small Talk
Pull up a chair. Talk to strangers. | Meet Folx Table. Nashville's first sit down social network. Bethany
Known nowadays as the Sit-Down Social Network, the idea of Folx Table is simple: to pull up a chair, talk to strangers, and connect to something. All across Music City, guests are invited to ‘pull up a chair’ by buying tickets to join tables of six strangers - yes, complete strangers - at coffee shops, restaurants, and bars all across Nashville.

“It started with parties in my attic,” Emma McCallie, founder and CEO shares. “I invited some friends over and told them to invite their friends. It was a small space, and we played by my silly, goofy rules - which started with ‘no work, no weather’ talk. Instead, I came up with conversation-provoking questions for the table. Those were the humble beginnings of all the spontaneous, delightful, authentic interactions between the 300-some-odd people who came through. So many connections started in that attic— by talking to strangers— and Folx Table was born!”
The whole concept of talking to strangers is the driving force for Folx Table; While the idea of conversing with people we don’t know may sound daunting to many, stepping out of our comfort zones and encouraging ourselves and our peers to do something out of the ordinary can often result in the greatest memories and experiences. At Folx Table, tablemates cut through the small talk with novel question prompts - both silly and vulnerable. With questions ranging from ‘What do you think the status of my ‘junk drawer’ is?’ to ‘What’s the greatest lesson you’ve never learned?’, those who attend these events are greeted with meaningful an intentional conversations - and through it all, you connect to something. Folx make friends, folx open up, and folx learn something about themselves.
We’re constantly amazed by how quickly strangers share daydreams, life paths, lessons learned, and the real stuff of life...
Folx Table is waging a war on small talk and icebreakers. It's not a member’s club, or a dinner club, nor a dating app - they truly believe people meet better in person and set a clear expectation of finding friends first - believing people can form connections across all kinds of differences. Ultimately, the idea of talking to strangers represents the spirit of Folx Table because talking to strangers shouldn’t just happen at dinner outings or cocktail parties - it’s a new posture toward exploring connection in your life, wherever you are in the world. That’s how big they know this message is, and that’s why it drives everything they do.
“We’re constantly amazed by how quickly strangers share daydreams, life paths, lessons learned, and the real stuff of life when you give them a mic. We’ve built a brand and a program that allows anyone to show up with the intention of bringing their full selves,” says Emma McCallie, Founder and CEO. “Folx Table has set the new standard for connection and conversation.”
As is true for any startup, Folx Table is led by a lean team. Working to create more connected lives, friends Emma McCallie (Founder & CEO), Dallas Condra (COO), and Garrett Mireles (CMO) recently celebrated Folx Table’s first year at SXSW and are moving thoughtfully to scale. Over the summer, more Nashvillians will have the opportunity on any given night to talk to strangers, and the team is staying focused on pulling up more chairs for Folx to connect, looking forward to a full Fall launch. In the meantime, you can subscribe to their newsletter, check out the website, follow their Instagram or TikTok (@folx.table) for the latest tickets, events, surprises, and delights.

WHAT SETS ROLLING SUDS APART FROM OTHER FRANCHISE BASED COMPANIES?
Power washing is largely a momand-pop operated, locally owned and unbranded business. I’m sure it has served as many individual's first business venture because of its simplicity and historically low barrier to entry. However, that is what makes this company so much different from anything else currently in the industry. Rolling Suds is the first coast-to-coast power washing company in the US. We currently have 187 territories across 26 states and are growing. Additionally, your average power washer is targeting the residential market. We service residential as well, but our biggest

advantage is our ability to do large-scale commercial and industrial projects. This is all made possible through our proven Professional Power Washing Method that incorporates some of the most advanced equipment, robust labor model, and knowledge that has been gathered over the last 34 years the company has been operated.
IT IS OBVIOUS THAT COMPANY CULTURE IS A VERY IMPORTANT VALUE AT ROLLING SUDS. WHAT ARE THE STANDARDS YOU ALL PUT IN PLACE THAT HELP CONTRIBUTE TO THE RESULT OF BOTH HAPPY EMPLOYEES AND HAPPY CLIENTS?
Our culture is the foundation of our business. We have four core values that we want to permeate throughout the organization. They are communication, compassion, honesty, and being helpful. This is rooted in everything we do. From a power washing technician interacting with a customer all the way to us vetting potential franchisee candidates to bring on board. Over the last 18 months, we have actually turned away 57 applicants who were trying to buy into the organization. It is more important for us to maintain our organization’s great culture than it is for us to sell more territories.
WHAT
WAS IT ABOUT
NASHVILLE THAT MADE
ROLLING SUDS DECIDE TO MAKE THIS A
MAIN HUB FOR THE COMPANY?
The founders of the company, Brian Wednling Sr. and Brian Wendling Jr., have built this organization from the ground up over the last 3 decades in Warrington, PA. We used to conduct the final training with our franchisees at their facility where this all started. Unfortunately, due to the seasonality of the North East, we wouldn’t have been able to conduct training all year round. Which was of the utmost importance with how quickly the organization has been growing. The CEO, Aaron Harper, and myself, as the Director of Corporate Operations at the time, were both located here in Nashville. Obviously, it was convenient for us, but more importantly, it was more centrally located in
Evan Greco
PRESIDENT
Rolling Suds was established in 1990 and is a family-owned and operated business. With over 30 years of experience and 100,000+ clients, Rolling Suds knows how to efficiently get any job done. Rolling Suds of Nashville is more than just a power washing company—they're your dedicated partner in maintaining a cleaner, more inviting property. With a passion for excellence, they've built a reputation for delivering superior pressure washing services that exceed expectations and leave a lasting impression.
the US for our franchisees to come out to for training and we would be able to conduct more training cycles due to how far South it is. Furthermore, with us being such a quickly growing business, talent acquisition is always at the forefront of our minds. I have lived all over and I don’t know if I have seen an area more ripe with talent than Nashville.
IN ADDITION TO BEING A VETERAN YOURSELF, WE LEARNED THAT MANY OF YOUR COWORKERS AND FRANCHISE OWNERS HAVE ALSO SERVED OUR COUNTRY. HOW HAS THAT BEEN A FOCUS FOR ROLLING SUDS?
We are proud to be such a pro-military employer and franchisor! Ostensibly, it is always great to be able to give back to those who have served this country, but there is so much more to it than that. Our veterans possess so many skills from team leadership, to discipline, an agility to learning, willingness to go above and beyond, and having attention to detail. Whether it is a power washing technician, executive leader, or a franchisee, those aforementioned skills are always crucial to individual or organizational success.
IT SEEMS THAT NOT ONLY IS ROLLING SUDS A VERY HANDS-ON COMPANY, BUT LEADERSHIP IS VERY MUCH INVOLVED IN THE DAY-TO-DAY OPERATIONS. HOW IMPORTANT IS YOUR LEADERSHIP AND THE PROCESS OF TRAINING NEW FRANCHISE OWNERS?
This is absolutely one of the things we pride ourselves on. I don’t want to speak for everyone on the team, but I left my previous employer because of how disconnected the senior leadership was from the operation. They were so far removed that there was no way they could make effective decisions about the operation and had no empathy for the front-line worker. That is why it is so important to us that everyone who is employed at the home office will go out at least once a quarter to power wash with the team. From our Lead Sales Consultant to myself as the President; we can all be found at a customer’s home or at a commercial job site actually performing the job so we can always keep a pulse on the team members working conditions and morale and the customers' needs.
