Hello Springtime! I’m so excited to share our amazing March Home Edition with you. From a young age I was always drawn to beautiful architecture and gorgeous interiors. Till this day I am always redecorating and finding new inspirations and driving the husband crazy lol. Balancing a thriving business with family life is no small feat, but Charity embraces the challenge. “My family is my biggest cheerleading squad. Seeing my journey has inspired three of my five children to start their own businesses,” she shares proudly. Her six- and nine-year-olds are set to launch their ventures in 2025, while her 19-year-old plans to do so after college. “Teaching my kids the value of hard work and the joy of entrepreneurship has been an unexpected bonus of this journey.”
A fun fact about Charity? She once played Women’s Flat Track Roller Derby under the name ‘Loca Tortura.’ “It was so much fun, and I was in the best shape of my life!” she laughs. She’s also fluent in American Sign Language, which she sees as another way to connect with her community. When it comes to home plumbing, Charity offers some valuable tips to homeowners. “Regular maintenance can save you thousands in potential damage. Simple things like checking for leaks, making sure your water heater is flushed annually,
and avoiding harsh chemical drain cleaners can extend the life of your plumbing system.” She also stresses the importance of water quality. “Many homeowners don’t realize how much minerals and contaminants in water can affect their pipes and appliances. Her advice to young people considering a trade career is simple: “Just do it. The world needs skilled tradespeople, and the opportunities are endless. Tradespeople often earn more than college graduates right out of school, and the work is incredibly fulfilling.
